- Obama believes he'd got the better of Romney as he walked off stage to the dismay of his aides, according to a Democrat close to the campaign - The President failed to prepare properly, opting instead to visit the Hoover Dam the day before the showdown - Democrat claims he was so disdainful of Romney that he didn't think he needed to even engage with him - Had one-liners on 47% prepared but chose not to use them
watching his debate against Mitt Romney already knew it had been a disaster for him.
But what nobody knew, until now, was that Obama believed he had actually won.
In an extraordinary insight into the events leading up to the 90 minute showdown which changed the face of the election, a Democrat close to the Obama campaign today reveals that the President also did not take his debate preparation seriously, ignored the advice of senior aides and ignored one-liners that had been prepared to wound Romney.

I know but I think it's in his nature. Both as a narcissist who will be in depression and as an America-hating neo-Colonialist. It will be in keeping with being the most disrespectful president in history. Something he might see as a plus for his future standing as a post-American ex-president.
I suppose MO would threaten to beat his twerpy little butt though if he tried it. She has her post WH status to think about too.
Oh, I'm sure his inner thug would just love to diss Romney and Ryan by not showing up to their inauguration, but even Barky knows that he'd be branded as a hateful little loser for life, if he did it.
I'd more expect for him to show up and try to steal the limelight, in a grand preparation for his next job as Emperor of The World .. LOL
(You're right. Mooch would twist his ears off if he missed it)
That occurred to me too. Which will also make him look rather petty.
Oh, no, not his love handles! LOL
No, Barky’s going to turn over the keys to the White House with some sort of grandiose flourish, intended to make him look regal, and make Romney look like a somewhat undeserving successor.
Clinton tried to do the same thing on his last day in office. The press lapped up every stupid moment of his farewell speech, and Bubba did his best to make it seem as though Camelot II had ended.
“We did a lot of good. Yeah....we did a lot.”
Barf! I thought he’d never leave.
LOL! That’s the best facepalm I’ve seen yet... ;-D
wow... who was that hairless young gentleman... amazing what a government job and platinum healthcare will do for a hairline...
t
I was only 12 when carter was pres.
Having said that, IMHO zero is no George H.W. Bush, or Carter for that matter (as far as tact and class go).

THANKS!!
Do you know did she already give it to him or promised it to him?
So that’s what she looks like!
I say - unexpected illness (Flu/etc) that causes him to be rushed to the hospital for observation -- thereby not only missing the inauguration, but turning the news cycle to himself.
Not a bad bet at all IMO.
Wilkow - -? (We’re in So. CA) - - -
Don’t think BHO would have to ‘purposely’ incite a riot if he loses - OR wins!!!
Understand T. Sowell has also put forth this possibility.
Masses are just waiting for any excuse, me thinks.
Poor innocents in these idiots’ ‘territories.’
One riot site will affect surrounding area.
Keep car gas tank filled. Get to half - fill up.
Put up some supplies. Food Water Meal Bars: Cliff, etc. Remember pets.
Supermarkets would be stormed.
Hygiene products. Prescriptions.
Paper products.
Candles. BICS.
Flashlight. Batteries. Port. radio.
Playing cards. Magazines.
Vodka, Rum, etc. Multiple purposes! ! !
You can think of what you want/need.
For those ahead of this, please excuse . . .
Long haul trucks won’t get to markets - ?
Spectre of the trucker at Normandy in L.A. during the R. King riots. Hauled out and beaten.
All kinds of theories around.
Even chatter aBout rioting could cause panic.
Serious.
“Wilkow - -? (Were in So. CA) - - -”
I am in Central Connecticut. I would much rather be in So. CA than Central Connecticut though. Wouldn’t be much of a difference in politics or taxes for that matter. I listened to Wilkow on the satellite. He is quite good, but he comes on during the work day, so I listen to Rush at work, since I don’t get the satellite on my radio there.
I been preparing, and more so the last 3 months. I appreciate people such as yourself for the reminders and the recommendations. I found I can still use the stuff as long as replace it and “rotate” it.
You bet, esp being in So CA in the winter vs CT!
Not into satellite stuff - yet.
We have a neice in Glastonbury. Born on Long Island. We’re from Long Island. Would wave to CT across the Long Island Sound from one of many beaches on the North Shore.
When I was a kid, in the ‘40’s and ‘50’s, the view was often clear to CT. Not so later - smaze, maybe??
Yes, it’s the rotating of food stuffs that’s a challenge - can be annoying!
No need to rotate paper and plastic, tho.
Add vitamin supplements to that list.
And trash bags.
Also Baby Wipes - in case of unavailable water for a while - -
The military in Iraq and Afghanistan all these years have caused Baby Wipes to become a hot commodity!
And the basic First Aid kit.
!
I can see Long Island (Orient Point), and the “Race” from my office. I work at EB. Its a nice view. I actually live in Colchester a couple towns from Glastonbury. I am originally from Florida.
