- Obama believes he'd got the better of Romney as he walked off stage to the dismay of his aides, according to a Democrat close to the campaign - The President failed to prepare properly, opting instead to visit the Hoover Dam the day before the showdown - Democrat claims he was so disdainful of Romney that he didn't think he needed to even engage with him - Had one-liners on 47% prepared but chose not to use them
watching his debate against Mitt Romney already knew it had been a disaster for him.
But what nobody knew, until now, was that Obama believed he had actually won.
In an extraordinary insight into the events leading up to the 90 minute showdown which changed the face of the election, a Democrat close to the Obama campaign today reveals that the President also did not take his debate preparation seriously, ignored the advice of senior aides and ignored one-liners that had been prepared to wound Romney.

yes, Obama is the poster boy for the Dunning-Krueger effect

I actually want to see Mitt laugh out loud at one of Obama's over zealous jabs. It would be a moment for the ages, and would deeply shame Obama in front of his Hopeful minions.
OBAMA: "My opponent wants to throw Big Bird into the street."
ROMNEY: "Oh, you mean the 1%er millionaire on government assistance? LOL!"
“He says he has been to 57, one to go and two his staff wouldn’t let him go to. Total = 60 states. He increased the number of states by 20%.”
O.K., I’ll grant you Alaska to bump it up to 59, but do we really have to count Hawaii?
As Dennis Miller said “He looked very mayorial”
If there was an 0bama Greatness Award . 0bama would award the first one to himself.
Oh, boy! First 0bama throws Hawaii under the bus by blaming his laziness on growing up there and now you want to throw it off the island. (see what I did there?) I’m going to start to feel sorry for Hawaii if this keeps up. (right up until the snow starts flying here in CO)
“I agree, if he looses I sure don’t believe he will go away quietly. It’s obvious he’s thin skinned and a poor sport.”
This brings up a question I have. How did President Carter behave when he lost? I was way to you, so I have no idea. The last President to lose an election was President George H.W. Bush and from what I can tell he seemed to deal with it in a classy manner.

LOL aka The 0bama Syndrome!
I don’t recall how Carter acted when he lost...just went back to Georgia quietly is my impression but Gore could be a good comparison for BO. Gore lost his mind.

I think that your right. Gore would be a great way to predict obamas post election behavior. Except, I think he may make us all forget about Gore.
“get out of my house.”
suu - WEEEET !!!
Anyone thinking there could be rioting around some U.S cities if Obumpo loses OR wins??? (bite my tongue)

And Axlerod is offering the zingers to Biden to use...should be pretty funny.
Funny...
Obama is bat shit crazy, pathologically narcissistic and absolutely coming apart at the seams over this debate loss.
Though the media will never allow it to happen, if he were to lose a second debate, there is no doubt that he would have a full blown meltdown.
This is finally entertaining!
when Romney trounces Zero in debate #2, maybe he will claim it’s “only a flesh wound” like Monty Python’s black knight...
