Muslim cleric Abu Islam Burns the Holy Bible in front of thousands of Muslims at protest outside the US Embassy in Cairo, Egypt, on Tuesday, 9/11. His action was met with applause and anti-Christian cheers from the demonstrators.
According to Mary Abdelmassih in a story carried by the Assyrian International News Agency (www.aina.org), the cleric, before leaving the demonstration and getting into his car, told the crowds next time I will urinate on it.

The Bible is the Word of God. But it is not God -- we do not worship the Bible.
All of the Universe is God's work. A given physical Bible is a manifestation of God -- but so is the entire Universe. Do these Muslims decry the burning of a tree?
Hard to believe folks could get something so simple, so backwards.
There are those who are offended when I say that The Bible is not the Word of God. It is a Holy book, but the Word of God is Jesus himself.
Our Muslim brothers (and they are our brothers in Adam, not in Christ), seem to care more about things, and less about people. Christianity teaches just the opposite, caring more for people, and less for things.
The Living Word already went to hell for us and rose from the dead. No worries.
Reminded me of something I read earlier today about a woman who says she has a copy of the Koran on her nightstand... and uses bacon for a bookmark.
My God isn’t in a book. My faith isn’t so fragile that I must make public demonstration of it at every turn. I trust my fellow Christians’ faith will not be diminished by your feeble attempts to insult us. I am not so blasphemous as to think that I need to react for God and try to extract revenge on you for burning the Bible. In short, I am not so insecure that I must react to every perceived slight. Have a nice day Islam.
These fools disrespect the Bible at their own peril. The printed Holy Bible is just an instrument to convey God’s eternal word. No action by man adds or subtracts from it. Burn away, I say. They, unless they repent, will most likely burn too. That is God’s business.
The thing that just pisses me off is our government getting all upset when someone burns a koran but ho hums their burning a Holy Bible.
I would suggest investing in some printer ink and downloading an image of a Koran book cover.
Print up hundreds of copies, turn into book covers by folding..
Visit a book store, thrift store, yard sale etc. and get a bunch of cheap books, useless books, place the Koran book covers on all of them and then spend as much time as needed to post every conceivable way of destroying them.
Why I bet if you connected a lie detector to any Moslem, doesn’t matter what country they are in and placed them in an area where they could witness these “Korans” being burned I bet the machines will start spewing sparks and smoke.
Meanwhile as we watch Bibles being burned we go about our everyday business like its nothing.
Frankly I would say any Moslem would be very hard pressed to conceal the hidden latent rage just simmering inside them, its also no wonder the democrats have made them bed buddies.
If we riot, burn our cities and kill people, Bill Press - the nutty liberal radio guy - will defend us. (Bill Press is defending Muslims - I assume he’d do the same for Christians...)
Maybe we should send these Muslims more Bibles to burn - show them how grown ups deal with life. Then a card telling them to get medication for their thin skins...
Is it now OK to burn holy books of another’s religion?
Can I burn the Quran in front of the Egyptian embassey.
Our gov't ho hums when they burn Christians.
AMEN!
Makes for good toilet paper.
That was great. She gives her name and address and says come and get me if you don’t like it. Wish I knew her.
This dude needs an education. Most Americans don’t care if Bibles are burned. But if he wants to get a rise out of Americans, he should burn the flag. It is an interesting phenomenon.
What does this mean? Are we all supposed to go to DC and storm the Egyptian embassy (a truly hideous building, by the way, looks like it was designed by a Soviet committee) and burn their flag? We are not morons like they are.
Burning a cross would be more enraging. Or a church building.
It doesn’t matter. God’s Word is not the printed page. It’s what is on the printed page - and hidden in our hearts. It is eternal.
But isn’t if funny how muslims need to defend their god? My God is omnipotent. I only need to give a defense for what I believe. For some reason muslims need to defend the honor of their helpless little god. It seems that muslims are not depending on their god as much as their god is depending on them.
“Next time I will urinate on it.”....and he’ll squat to pee.
Now if he were to burn EBT cards or welfare checks...
Just saying.
