Minutes after Paul Ryan finished his RNC speech on Wednesday, MSNBC's Chris Matthews slammed the Republican vice presidential candidate for supposedly ignoring blacks during his "very constricted, very negative, very nasty speech," and suggested that he was directing the address to racists: "It's clear that Paul Ryan was talking to people who think about rights as something...produced by Thomas Jefferson, ignoring the people for whom the rights only came in the 1960s."
Matthews added that "for some reason, they never mentioned those things, because they're talking to people - let's be honest about this - who didn't feel the benefit, at all, from those civil rights, and I think that's very important to point out."
Jefferson created our rights? Matthews is such an idiot.
Rights from your creator come when you were created. Jefferson just articulated it.
There are nasty talking heads, and a few stupid ones. Some are stupider than others. I have been convinced for quite a while that Matthews is one of the dumbest ones out there. It’s sort of amazing he keeps his job. He’s really quite stupid.
The face of evil. Repent, now, for the end draws near.
This psycho needs to be put in a rubber room. Completely unhinged.
They and Chrissy are absolutely obssessed with race. Or they think it’s the magic, irrefutable, all-purpose accusation, or all of the above. And it will be the magic accusation, as long as the right is afraid to throw it right back in their faces instead instead of going all furtive and defensive and acting guilty. When will that day ever come?
I thought he was tilting off the edge of sanity in the early 2000s when he objected to someone mentioning J.F. K.'s cutting taxes to stimulate the economy in 1962. Matthews became incensed that the person who stated that objective fact mentioned one of his, Matthews, patron saints because Kennedy was dead. I thought to myself what an odd and ridiculous argument for Matthews to be taking. He's progessively got worse since then.
It hasn’t been “civil rights” since at least the Sixties, now it’s “snivel rights”.
Fortunately it’s Matthews last rodeo and he is trying to soak it for all its worth....
You rasict dated a Black Girl in College and has a Black Sister in law and Your family Chrissy?
Who died and left Chris Mathews as lone arbiter of what is racist?
I believe he is insane. If I ranted like Chrissy does, I would be committed. Rightfully so.
The man is not packing a full sea bag.
His elevator doesn’t go to the top floor.
He is more than a few bricks short of a load.
He is at least two beers short of a six-pack.
I truly believe that Chris Matthews needs psychological help. He is a hate-filled, race-baiting, big government socialist who hast lost reason and sensibility. Pray for him.

Matthews used to be a semi-regular on the Imus show when it was on MSLSD. He actually sounded somewhat rational in those days (late nineties-early 2000s). He's since sounded like a typical leftist wacko. Bad acid?
Did he say this before or after the speech? You can bet he had his zingers thought up before the speech.
That card is getting pretty frayed. Everybody is a racist except him.
Pray for America
It would be comforting to see this moron vapor lock if/when zero loses this Fall.
Even better would be to read of him getting mugged and beaten by one of his championed causes.
When they’re playing it as hard as they have been this go-round, it must be the only card left in the deck. I hope they keep it up until it finally becomes so worn-out and overplayed that it’s removed from the deck for good. That will be a glorious day.
All types of MSM are pulling out the race card this week. It’s got to be a directed meme from the Axelrod gang.
As I understand it, Ryan dated a black woman for quite a long time in college and his brother is married to a black lady. Really play out their racism, don’t they? I wonder just how many black people that Chris Matthews has as friends or contacts outside work. If I had no fingers on my hand, I bet I could count them on my fingers.
“rights produced by Thomas Jefferson”?
What an assclown. What a humanist.
Rights come from the Creator, and are set forth in His Word to us, and can neither be given, taken, nor even given up voluntarily.
When you have a demented worldview based on nothing but your feet planted firmly in midair, you’re gonna come up with some really STUPID conclusions.
