You know at one time many years ago, Matthews was considered sane enough to appear amicably on Rush's show. Those days are long gone. Matthews has been living deep in the land of insanity i.e. Bizarro World for at least the last five or six years.

I thought he was tilting off the edge of sanity in the early 2000s when he objected to someone mentioning J.F. K.'s cutting taxes to stimulate the economy in 1962. Matthews became incensed that the person who stated that objective fact mentioned one of his, Matthews, patron saints because Kennedy was dead. I thought to myself what an odd and ridiculous argument for Matthews to be taking. He's progessively got worse since then.
