Minutes after Paul Ryan finished his RNC speech on Wednesday, MSNBC's Chris Matthews slammed the Republican vice presidential candidate for supposedly ignoring blacks during his "very constricted, very negative, very nasty speech," and suggested that he was directing the address to racists: "It's clear that Paul Ryan was talking to people who think about rights as something...produced by Thomas Jefferson, ignoring the people for whom the rights only came in the 1960s."
Matthews added that "for some reason, they never mentioned those things, because they're talking to people - let's be honest about this - who didn't feel – the benefit, at all, from those civil rights, and I think that's very important to point out."

It’s a very sad thing to watch someone slide into dementia on national TV.

....Or maybe Chris Mathews is “scared” that the Romney/Ryan team will tear the Obama/Biden team.

Matthews is an idiot and a liar. When Romney gets put over that 270 electoral vote mark I am going to break my rule and watch MSDNC just so I can watch Chrissy cry.

NBC really needs to retire Matthews after this election. He has completely lost it over the past decade, and in obama years can’t formulate a thought without inserting race. It is ridiculous and embarrassing to watch.

I can not think of one Conservative anywhere in the electronic media (and that includes Rush) who is as rabid, partisan, hate-filled, creep who are best ignored, yet are considered heroes by the Libs/Left.
But then again, just look at who their Dear Leader is?

When Conservatives ask home questions, directly challenge failed Liberal policies, articulate logical and workable alternatives ... and whenever Conservatives SUCCEED IN REACHING listeners DESPITE the traditional interference, misrepresentations and outright mendacity of MSM ... Liberals call them ‘nasty’ (and worse names).
This ridiculous and predictable response from the opponents of Conservatism is ruining American political discourse.
For the system to actually work, Conservatism needs a worthy opposition… if only to keep it honest.
(And the same for Liberalism.)
If both parties descend to playground behavior, the American voter loses out!
