I live here in the northern part of the state - and we are SO scr*wed.
California almost daily does something to fiscally shoot itself in the foot. And it is all slowly steamrolling into a giant mess. For cities, counties, pension funds, businesses, etc. and the state.
I seriously don't believe this tax raise proposition will pass, but i have been surprised and shocked at what we have done to ourselves here in the past.
And frankly - it doesn't matter either way . . . we are well beyond the point of saving ourselves. It will take a “ Greece - like” collapse to start the road back. And I doubt anyone will bail us out like Greece - so all that is left is for the misery to begin.

they pull this gloom and doom we need a tz increse for education crap in colorado every year and every year i vote against it. the problem with education is not a lack of money. i could make a list but most of you already know what is wronga and how to fix it.

Brown can go to hell. California schools are awash in money but it is wasted. There is plenty of money to teach the kids. Quit wasting it and this isn’t an issue.
