Brown can go to hell. California schools are awash in money but it is wasted. There is plenty of money to teach the kids. Quit wasting it and this isn’t an issue.
But its not about teaching kids, its about making teachers lives comfortable. Can’t ever have enough for that.
In the Campbell Union High School District in the last 4-5 years, all the high schools have gotten new theaters, the football fields/tracks have been replaced with astroturf/rubber tracks and now they’re all replacing the perfectly good electrical infrastructure with solar panels in the parking lots.
Note: the big scandal with the new tracks/football fields is that they don’t want any of the kids practicing on them (field hockey, soccer, football) because they don’t want them wrecked.
In the meantime, my college kid at SDSU had had his tuition increase 30%....my Junior college kid pays a fortune for textbooks - $200 for a math text, $180 for English....we are being sucked dry.
