Among the things written by
Frederick Chopin at age 18, there is a piece that he decided to withhold that was published after his death. What could be better than one piano, but two?
Chopin: Rondo for 2 Pianos in C, Op. 73

Made it home safely...*HUGS*...spent some time with the folks to hear about their day. The guy who did our plumbing inspection and dishwasher install was here today checking out how to replace the overhead vent from the laundry room shower to the outside, and how to replace the dryer vent to the outside.
I purposely did not come home...we know and trust Kim and my Mom tends to feel left out. Soooo, any questions and answers were up to her. Kim did call me and tell me that I got a really good vent, but on closer look would have to be changed because of the outside siding. No worries.
So he took measurements and made a “parts list”. He is doing our work during those times he has to be off site for the job he’s working on. One more step.
Now, if it will stop raining for a bunch of days in a row so the roofing guys can roof and work their way down the list to us....
How was your day? The kids still in charge? Are you making progress despite the kids?

THE SOLDIERS CODE
Gen Dwight D. Eisenhower addresses troops of the 101st Airborne Division 5Jun1944 prior to D-Day Normandy
The Soldiers Code
1) I am an American fighting man. I serve in the forces which guard my country and our way of life. I am prepared to give my life in their defense.
2) I will never surrender of my own free will. If in command, I will never surrender my men while they still have the means to resist.
3) If I am captured, I will continue to resist by all means available. I will make every effort to escape and aid others to escape. I will accept neither parole nor special favors from the enemy.
4) If I become a prisoner of war, I will keep faith with my fellow prisoners. I will give no information or take part in any action which might be harmful to my comrades. If I am senior, I will take command. If not, I will obey the lawful orders of those appointed over me, and will back them up in every way.
5) When questioned, should I become a prisoner of war, I am bound to give only name, rank, service number, and date of birth. I will evade answering further questions to the utmost of my ability. I will make no oral or written statements disloyal to my country and its allies, or harmful to their cause.
6) I will never forget that I am an American fighting man, responsible for my actions, and dedicated to the principles which made my country free. I will trust in my God and in the United States of America.
President Dwight D. Eisenhower, August, 1955.

Genuflectimus non ad principem sed ad Principem Pacis!
Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)
