I believe it's a good ad because it's an effective one.It gets the point across both textually conveying a sense of ineptitude, hopelessness on the part of the President and visually as well displaying Obama in a state of confusion, being self-absorbed, seemingly not connected with the country and the huge problems it faces.

"I have a plan" doesn't sound any better from Romney than Obama.
I'm sure he'll role out specifics, and had that epic 50-some point plan in the primaries, but this ad could be stronger. I didn't "feel" it.

Gunna-hav-ta start spending money explaining it... 9-9-9 may not have been a truley viable plan, but did it ever get recognized. Hope Romney is piquing Godfather Herman Cain’s brain...

How about approving the Keystone pipeline and other energy projects in the first days of his office. Sounds like a plan to me.
To: lbryce
It’s too general. We need imagery of miserable looking unemployed middle class folks contrasted with out of control spending on b.s. that continues to crush the recovery.

Obama would have you believe that the solution to the sinking ship is to drill more holes in it to let the water out.

Negative imagery works. Show misery, speak hopefully at the end of the commercial. It’s simple, really.

"I didn't "feel" it." Hit me differently. On par, I think it was one of his stronger commercials, as it outlines inarguably the recent decline under O'Bungwad. And I can't stand Romney (prioner by choice in the 'Gulag Moscowchusetts.').

Its too general Exactly! I mean, Obama's out there still saying under his plan things will get better. Only thing not on Obama's side is the fact that he's been pResident for more than 3 years already.
Romney needs to get specific about how he plans on improving things. The ad had no substance. It's a good anti-Obama ad but does not tell me why I would go running to the polls to vote for Obama's opposition.
Basically the message of the ad was "Don't vote for Obama. Stay home"
To: lbryce
The message from the Obama camp is that the methods that Romney wants to use are the Bush methods that took our nation to economic collapse. They want you to think that supply side economics of the Bush Administration caused the collapse of Freddie Mac and Fanny Mae. That is a big lie.
It was the actions of Barney Frank and Christopher Dodds and the Democrat’s control of the Congress and the Senate during the Bush Administration that allowed the housing collapse. Barney Frank and Christopher Dodds pushed Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to take on greater risk and fought efforts by the Bush Administration to control the housing market using lies and class warfare.

No offense intended, by the way. It’s just that we are a new and growing majority in this country, and we have to look as smart as we actually are. Better yet, smarter.

Did I sound offended? Certainly not I opened up my response with LOL and take what you've said in self-deprecating humor.
I am an inherent stickler-perfectionist especially in matters of the written word.I have no tolerance for those who write with the proficiency of a third grader, violating the English language with improper grammar, spelling and whole host of punctuation errors. I wouldn't deny being a grammar Nazi but keep it mostly in the closet. Nevertheless, I committed an act that I intensely rail against and so am most deserved of your tongue-lashing. Or would you prefer 39 lashes?
