MASSIVE LINES at Chick-fil-A on “National Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day”
Gateway Pundit ^ | 8-1-2012 | Andrea Ryan

Posted on 08/01/2012 12:18:06 PM PDT by servo1969

Today is “National Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day.”

After intolerant and First Amendment-hating Chicago politicians blocked Chick-fil-A from building a restaurant, former Governor Mike Huckabee announced his support for the restaurant chain and its Constitutional right of free speech. He declared today Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day.

Allen sent this picture from west county St. Louis.

Allen added: People are standing in line 100+ deep to go inside. The lines go out and around the building. Two lines of drive through cars are around the shopping center.

St. Louisans also came out in huge numbers to show their support for the First Amendment.
The lot was jam-packed…
(Mike took these photos in Chesterfield, Missouri.)

The line goes around the block.

The line of cars wraps all the way around to the main boulevard, where the line still continues.

The surrounding streets and parking lots are packed.

The restaurant is full and the line goes out the door.

Normally, with this crowd volume you would expect short tempers and bedlam. That’s not the case today at Chick-fil-A. While the surrounding restaurant chains are empty, the people in this line are happily making a statement, talking to each other with smiles on their faces. They’re patriots taking a stand against a gross violation of our First Amendment right. And they are doing it in 100 degree temperatures.

Any bets if this will make the MSM tonight?

If you have more photos please send them in!

Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-SC) bought Chick-fil-A for his office staff today.

Here’s a photo from Texas.

Ruth Wendelken sent this from Texas: This is at 11:15 at the Los Colinas Texas Chick-fil-a. Notice the line is three cars wide around the building. The line of foot traffic is huge. Notice the sign of 315 cars served at that time. Now in center line. Its a great day for Freedom of speech. Take that Boston, Chicago and San Francisco!

Is it like that inside, too?

I saw two church groups/extremely large families walking to the Chic-fil-a as I was leaving.

We cheered, clapped and did the wave. Employees passed out water, ice and crackers to those who needed it.

The lines were doubled up inside in every aisle except the window.

People were taking pix. Two news crews/tv & radio showed up. Even the employees were taking picture.

I saw a couple of people in the kitchen. One guy was moving like a jackhammer.

Friday is appreciation day, all the workers that worked so hard today gets Friday off but thye can leave the drive through open.

The workers deserve such a day and the kiss butt fest would not be on camera as we all know the media will be following two queers and then leading witht he story all frigging day.

Like CBS who had a van outsdie the CFA but when a guy asked why you not filming they said this is not a protest so it’s not worth it etc bla bla/.

What CBS means is that they were waiting all day for one protestor from the left but after seeing thousands eat at CFA and not one queer or far left nut they left.

So typical of the media and their bias, they are the true enemy of this country, they lie, distort and psh the lefts propaganda and then say they’re not biased, stunning really

Friday is the holy day for muslims, so it would be funny for the media to have their cameras at the ready to support their queers and the homostapo but then as they are filming live a van full of muslim women all decked out go into CFA.

Oh dear the homostapo protesting muslims and islam, how confusing the left would be on that.

-lol- I love it. Actually the picture I posted is a neighboring Chick northwest of us. We went to the one in Lombard which is a little closer, but it too was busy, busy, busy. Unbelievable.

A friend of mine has a little part time job at our local CFA and was telling me yesterday that they are expecting the protesters on Friday.

I think breakfast, lunch and dinner may be CFA on Friday!

Sat in a VERY long drive thru line on the way home from our Anniversary Dinner just to pick up a couple of chicken sandwiches. The place was ROCKIN’!

You’re welcome! While we live a bit southeast of Schaumburg (and actually went to the Lombard CFA today), our son plays ultimate frisbee there frequently.

Don’t know about Hwy K, Wentzville was busy for breakfast, was a complete joke around 1:30. Glad the Home Depot parking lot was there, not sure that Home Depot did much business today.

irony, homo depot is a masive money giver tot he left and the homostapo and yet we here used their parking lot to get to CFA LOL.
CFA was kicking while homo depot , Wendy’s was , well lets say very peaceful.

You know what is sad is thta many of the workers here at homo depot have or had no clue about their company is a massive pro homo agenda company.

If that was a He?She it doesn’t say much for his commitment.

Yes, all in all, one could say a good day and MAYBE, just MAYBE our side can see we can be effective if we just stick together and hope these Lib Idiots can give us a couple of rallying points in the next few months...

Of course the next ‘move’ could be to let Fox know we are not endeared with some of their on air personalities and the big one could be to DROP HBO en masse as long as they continue to promote and use Maher.

The left ‘flexes it muscles’ by getting in ‘our’ faces, we should flex ours by supporting who they don’t like and avoiding, where possible, those that support the whackos.

I just got back from the CFA in the Paramus Park Mall in New Jersey. It was a nice, ahem, leisurely 50 mile drive in rush hour traffic each way, but boy was it worth it! There where thousands of nice, polite, motivated people who waited on line for about an hour to make their point and buy some delicious chicken sandwiches. To everyone’s credit, I did no see anyone balk at the line, or get on line and then leave. I met some very nice conservative people who were there to support Mr. Cathy’s First Amendment Right’s and to show the liberals and Obama that we have had enough of this crap! It really was encouraging to see so many like-minded people spontaneously mobilized for a common cause. As someone on line said: We came for chicken sandwiches and a Sweet Tea Party broke out!

Same scene at local Chick-fil-A in Westminster, Maryland this evening after work.

Jam packed inside, with an outside line about a quarter of the way around the store. Traffic around the shopping center was snarled because of cars coming/going & waiting in the drive thru line, with cars driving by on the main road in front honking their horns in support. Took me a little less than an hour to get through the outside line and come out with my order. Everyone was very nice & polite despite the long wait & heavy volume.

First time I ever went into a Chick-fil-A (not much of a fast food fan), but the chicken was actually quite good.

agreed 100 per cent, I’m on board , lets fight back instead of always trying to get along.

Our side who have a voice remain cowards, many in talk radio never mention the homosexual agenda because they live in fear for their money and wealth and friends and elitist cocktail parties

There are three Chick Fil As in Lynchburg, VA, and all of them were slam-packed today. Police were directing traffic. When I went, I had to drive around the building four times before finding a slot; I was going to park at Walmart and run across the highway, LOL. I saw a truck with this painted on the back window: “I HATE OBAMA AND HIS POLICIES. THAT DOES NOT MAKE ME A RACIST-—IT JUST MAKES ME ONE PISSED-OFF AMERICAN.”

When I left, I went to Sally Beauty Supply for some things; I ran into an acquaintance at the checkout, and we started chatting about the CFA issue. I said, “It’s a different world”, whereupon the two black women employees JUMPED on me. One of them said, “Whatchoo mean, a different world??” The other said the CFA CEO should have kept his mouth shut, that she “didn’t judge” people. I told her, “That’s bullcrap, you know right from wrong. Free speech doesn’t only go one way, and you just MADE a judgement when you said the man should have shut up.” It started to get loud, so although I gave it right back to those broads, I left. I got halfway down the road and thought, what am I doing? I turned around, went back, threw the stuff on the counter, and told them to give me my money back. I said they could have any opinion they want, but they better start learning some hard lessons on how to treat paying customers.

State College PA - 8:00pm: Parking lot full, people lined out the door, and a flagman on the street to keep people from lining up on Business 322! Guess they aren’t ALL part of the “anything goes” crowd ;-)
