If you're participating in Chick-Fil-A appreciation day, please take a moment to post your experiences today here!
I met Mr. Mercat and a friend at CFA at 11:20. I was able to eat and leave by 12:15. The wait was long but everyone was very positive and full of cheer. The employees seemed to be having a good time. When I left, the local radio station was reporting a 45 minute wait. The line was wrapped around the building and the cars were backed up three city blocks. Police out directing traffic. Security people there.
I’d like to have visited the one in Irvine (CA), but it’s located in a shopping center that’s next to impossible to get into and out of within my lunch hour on a regular day. I can only imagine what it’s like today.
I’m thinking that what’s needed is a repeat of this on Friday. Isn’t that the day the protesters are supposed to be doing their “kiss-in” nonsense? It’d be a real shame if all the parking spots, booths and tables were already taken when they arrive.
I meant to mention - Johnson County Kansas so wasn’t expecting and didn’t see any protesters. Did see several African Americans.
They ran out of breakfast I heard by 9:30.
Quoting our favorite idiot on the left - "This is a big f------ deal!"
If America runs out of chicken I am going to BBQ a Perigrine Falcon, Whooping Crane, or California Condor instead.
If you get them dead from a gov-subsidized wind farm, it’s POLITICALLY CORRECT!!!
AWESOME!!!
This is as much about freedom of speech as it is about marriage.
The line was wrapped around the entire interior perimeter of the restaurant, in air-conditioned comfort. There were even some people outside waiting to get in. This is the only time in my life I've heard people actually happy to have to wait in line because of what it signifies! Also the staff was extremely efficient and food was great, so it was a great day on all accounts. Plus now CFA will have hundreds of thousands of new loyal customers.
Eat that, Rahm!

I think that this is the view across all of America - even in California.
It kind of gives me hope that a simple message on a Facebook page could get people motivated to stand in line like this...maybe we can boot Obama in November.
Not that Mitt is much better...but still..
lol...now that’s some camouflage there!
just got back with the family and it was amazing.
Three cops to deal with traffic, line wrapped around the building, people were polite, everyone talking in good spirits and laughing.
Line for the drive through went around the building, down the road, and half way into the homo depot parking lot.
AMAZING, now contrast that to a lefty nut protest, with swearing, name calling, hate, bigotry etc.
You Tube has the video removed.
Leslie Graham is proof C-F-A doesn’t turn anyone away no matter their orientation.
We went to the Desoto Mall Chick-Fil-A in Bradenton, FL at 2:30 this afternoon.
There were four lines with over 25 people in each line.
The other fast food places in the food court were envious of the business being enjoyed by Chick-Fil-A.
I bought $100 of Chick-Fil-A gift cards to donate to my favorite Christian charities. The manager had to go to the vault to get the cards as they had sold out the stock at the registers.

Greensboro/Browns Summit NC - husband step-son and - arrived about 11:20. Parking lot was full and spilling over into adjacent lots. Drive-thru wrapped around the building and into the adjacent parking lot on one side and was feeding from the access road. Inside our order was placed within 5 minutes and delivered within 10. Very diverse crowd including a lot of young black people. By the time we left the line was snaking around the building and the drive-thru line was zigagging through the adjacent parking lots of 4 businesses. Husband is oblivious couldn’t quite figure it out. Stepson figured it out and commented on the size of the crowd showing their support.
