A Minnesota congressman is calling for important changes to federal firearm laws in the wake of the movie theater massacre in Colorado.
Democrat Keith Ellison says the U.S. should not just restrict assault weapons but it should also set limits on some gun clips, ammunition and body armor.
“Reasonable gun controls,” Ellison said. “It’s time.”
Ellison said Tuesday that you don’t need a bulletproof vest and an assault rifle to go hunting. He’s supporting laws to restrict some of the items the Colorado shooter used in his deadly rampage. .....

To most of the prissy, pantywaist press, a super-soaker water pistol and a pocketed polo shirt constitute an assault weapon and a tactical, armored vest.

Even if the jackass had been wearing armor, had he been hit by a couple CHL folks, he would have been rattled.
I had that talk with my dad last night. He thought that if someone has a vests, you go for a head shot.

I have a ‘tactical vest’...it has a pocket on the back for my camera tripod, various pockets and hooks on the front for lens, film, etc etc etc. Maybe they want to ban it? I might use it to go hunting for the loud mouthed leftist politicians and lame stream media types in order to capture them doing something really stupid, or maybe doing something that is a felony...
A 45 HydraShok round to the head, thru the gas mask, would have done nicely. A very bright light in his face to blind him temporarily, then the round directed by a laser on the gun...no trial, no incarceration...just dead.
Isn’t ellison the moozlum representative? Shouldn’t he be calling for a ban on explosives and knives of fellow moozlums first before he attacks the Bill of Rights?

It seems Ellison wants Americans disarmed to make it easier for terrorists and thugs to kill Americans.
It should be noted that he has ties to the radical Council on American-Islamic Relations, which is an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terror financing trial.
Interesting that it was revealed today that he had 2 room mates, and nobody knows where they are.
