I live in congressional district in metro DC area that went heavily for Obama in 2008. I just got my first Mitt Romney for President 2012 bumper sticker. I am a die hard Republican and I have put GOP bumper stickers on my car in the past. However this year I am seriously hesitating putting the Romney one on even though I very much want him to win. Reason: I fear physical assault to my person or vehicle. Furthermore I know it is early in the election cycle but I haven't seen any Romney stickers on any cars either. Anyone else having this fear?
We don’t agree. Done talkin here.
I've unfortunately seen PLENTY of Obama bumper stickers (both the 2008 and 2012 versions) in the northeast, particularly in the Boston area. (I live in northern Connecticut)
I've also seen a few Elizabeth Warren (aka "Cherokee Liz") stickers on Massachusetts cars. I LOL every time I see one - I'm so amazed anyone would even consider voting for this moron.
So far ALL of those "Warren" cars that I've seen have been driven by women - the rough-looking lefty types, if you know what I mean...
Off-topic, but this is one great Mystery of Life to me: Why do people with beautiful, brand-new cars put those ugly "South of the Border" and/or "This Car Climbed Mt. Washington" bumper stickers on their cars? (often crooked, too)
I will never understand this phenomenon.
I'll get a Tim Walberg or a US Senate one for Debbie Stab-me-now's opponent instead.
I can appreciate that sentiment, I don't tell folks how to vote but you might also constrain your urge to vote for Romney ...
Since you won’t tell me how to vote (except to urge me to ‘constrain my urge to vote for Romney’
Wait, though. That may be telling me how to vote.
Okay, giving you the benefit of the doubt, I will only urge you to constrain your urge to vote for Obama.
I have my stickers magnetized. They come off when I park.
Call it cowardice if you will. I call it Preventive Maintenacne.
I don’t blame you for not wanting to put the sticker on your car. I would not do so either for the same reasons.
Fact is the other side plays dirty. And, this year, they are wound up even tighter than usual.
Too many folks underestimate his chances for reelection.

Exactly. Pat Caddell, whom I resepct because he is a Truman-style, sensible Democrat, was on Hannity last night. He warned the GOP of getting over confident. He said: “You don’t know what you’re dealing with here. You just don’t know what you’re dealing with”. That cause me much consternation because I know he is right; Pat Caddell is no dummy. Put nothing past the Obama Thug Brigade.
WE MUST WORK LIKE THERE IS NO TOMORROW TO DEFEAT BARACK OBAMA. BECAUSE IF HE IS REELECTED, THERE MAY BE NO TOMORROW!!!
Your Post#19 is encouraging. Thank you. If we can take back IN, OH, FL and VA, states Obama won in ‘08, WE WIN!!
I’d be afraid that every time I hit a bump my truck would erase itself.
I think they should create an offical Romney 2012 clothespin to use to obsruct obnoxious odors while voting this year.
