Just announced on Rush. On the heels of today's SCOTUS decision regarding Arizona's border protection law, Napalitano (Obama) has just notified Arizona that the federal government/ICE/DHS has been ordered not to cooperate with AZ regarding the reporting of illegals stopped in AZ.
Trebuchet.
That statement has no basis in the actual rule of law in this country. County sheriffs are authorized by either state Constitutions or state statutes. Federal agents receive their authority from federal law. The US Constitution nor federal statutes authorize the office of the county sheriff. It is only a state level created office. A county sheriff would be in violation of federal law and subject to federal arrest and to be brought before a federal magistrate if they directly impede, interfere, or try to intimidate a federal agent in the performance of their duties. I am a paleo conservative but I wish we conservatives would understand the law and how it works instead of statements that are not true in accordance with the actual rule of law. Congress gives federal agents the authority to act anywhere in the United States to enforce federal laws with only limits that are set by federal law itself. County sheriffs have absolutely nothing to do with and zero legal control over federal agents enforcing federal law. This is the concept of separate sovereigns.
The sooner he's a real ex the better for all of us.

Romney was not the first choice of most of us, but Romney with a GOP Congress is the best we can hope for now.

Far too optimistic. The Supreme Court may or may not strike it down. If they were to do lawfully sensible things 2005's Kelo case would have been the opposite: declaring that the 'projection' of increased taxes does not qualify as a "public use" as required by the 5th Amendment.

This is not an unusual stance for him. His entire life has been devoted to assisting the poor and what he sees as wronged by capitalism. He hasn’t ran a business, hired anyone, or created any wealth for anyone but himself through peddling his accuracy-challenged autobiography. His historical efforts and employment were subsidized by donations, state and federal tax dollars. Assisting illegal immigrants is a political move to endear him to the legal Hispanic population. This can only change with a change in November. Another big problem is Mexico is almost a failed state and many illegal immigrants do not want to go back there, unlike Canada.
It’s not hyperbole to call the Administration’s actions “High Treason”.

My father’s generation would’ve already removed this regime. I can’t even imagine what my grandfather’s generation would’ve done. We are pusses.
