When Obama, Pelosi, Reid lose on Obamacare, it’s going to be a very very interesting time to cook up some popcorn and watch the meltdown.
Inevitably, they are going to try to turn this into an argument to support re-election, so Obama can appoint more left wing radical liberal living-constitution judges.
3) On the ACA Individual Mandate. Again, it will just expose more of these Liberal/Progressive anti-constitutionalists judge oligarchs.
Inevitably, they are going to try to turn this into an argument to support re-election, so Obama can appoint more left wing radical liberal living-constitution judges.Certainly they won't come out publicly and admit they want "more left wing radical liberal living-constitution judges". They'll use a more "nuanced" description than that.
I suspect they won't really emphasize judicial appointments that much. They know that their base already knows that Supreme Court Justice Eric Holder is their future if they re-elect Obama, and they don't want to scare the independents with that fact.
I bet they'll react to a court loss on this issue by emphasizing how the "insurance companies and drug companies have won a major victory against the working poor and the middle class" or some such nonsense as that.
I don't think they'll be trumpeting Obama's second-term court picks. They don't want the electorate outside of their committed base thinking about that.
Heck, they don't even want some of our most articulate posters here in FR thinking about that.
It is hard to predict when the Supreme Court releases their decisions. Last week, many FREEPERS thought they were going to release them and it never happened. How do we know today is not the day after being wrong so much? I know they are on their own program but trying to figure out their schedule is like trying to figure out what stocks to buy and when.
I wish people would stop talking about the Obamacare decision like it is in the bag. I have a very nervous feeling in my gut and I trust my instincts. It’s not going to be all good news, and we may even lose on the mandate.

Absolutely! People here are talking as if it's a forgone conclusion. It's not, and at the very least people should start thinking about what will happen if it survives and how it will effect the election!
Hi, naps.
SCOTUS reportedly saves the “best” for last.
Dittos on the bad feeling! Take nothing for granted!
The longer they wait the more uneasy I get.
“How do we know today is not the day after being wrong so much?”
SCOTUSBlog has their calendar posted:
http://www.scotusblog.com/
Normally they issue opinions on Mondays and today is the last scheduled Monday in this year’s calendar (then they get a summer vacation and resume in October). However, they also announced last week that in light of the number of decisions still pending, they would add a day to this week’s calendar for decisions to be handed down. But they haven’t yet announced which day that will be. So it’s not a slam dunk that even today will be the day the Obamacare opinion is announced.
We may lose the republic... we may not... but you are correct... we do not know until they save or destroy us... and that will happen this week.

The wait begins.
I am very confident, look how it was first received, not with happy faces.
Does it have anything to do with Roberts getting a last chance to answer any dissenting opinion and they may have held closing those out?
If I read the calendar right, today is the last day.
Thanks. Good place to watch.
