Congressman Darrell Issa is leading the investigation into the Fast & Furious ATF scandal and his committee recommended Attorney General Eric Holder for contempt charges, but he admitted to Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday today that so far, there is no evidence connecting the scandal directly to the White House and Obama administration.
Wallace played a clip of House Speaker John Boehner saying that the invocation of executive privilege is “an admission” of guilt on the part of the White House. Wallace asked Issa directly if “any evidence” currently supports the claim that White House officials were at all involved with the operation or a cover-up of any kind.
Issa said quite clearly that it doesn’t, and expressed the hope that the entire investigation stays with the Justice Department and that it doesn’t turn out later on that they were involved.

There is no evidence that the cover-up has been unsuccessful!
Only an absolute moron would think that the Att. General (or one of his subordinates) would wildly dump guns into Mexico and not monitor their location.
No, it takes a community organizer with Zero IQ to use that “program” to set up the US gun distributors and manufacturers for massive government controls because the US guns were in Mexico.
Only Obozo is stupid enough to try it. Obama is a criminal, he needs to hang for this.
Not going to say Issa is wrong, but these 2 news conferences must fit in somewhere along the time line, you tell me;

He then answered questions on a number of topics including the economy, efforts to assist Mexico in combatting drug cartels, international monetary policy, tax policy, stem cell research, and the Middle East peace process.
Oh, there is a LOT of smoke. Also, someone is feeding Issa info under the table.
They are just playing the game here. Obama’s move.
The fact that Issa has no evidence means that the coverup is operating as planned.
The Watergate coverup was going as planned also, until Judge Sirisa handed out 20 year sentences and guys started folding. Even then, it really wasn’t until some obscure FAA manager testified that Nixon had tapes of everything, that Watergate opened up.
Basically, zer0bama is more wiley than Nixon, and this scandal will never open up. For one thing, judges won’t be handing out 20 year sentences because they agree with zer0bama. For another, no one will screw zer0bama like that FAA manager because they’ll pay more than a 20 year sentence from zer0bama’s Chicago cohorts.
Issa said exactly as he should have. He has everything in copy already that he wants from Holder and the Hut...”Yet” is a key word.
Holding that Holder is in contempt of Congress for his failure to respond to legitimate subpoenas is not claiming White House involvement.
The invocation of executive privilege, however, leaves two possibilities — the White House was involved, or Obama has no basis whatsoever for invoking executive privilege, but did so anyway to shield Holder. (Not that executive privilege could be legitimately invoked to cover illegal activity, anyway.) Neither possibility is good for Obama or the Democrats.
If a network of servers are wiped in the forest as no one is allowed to see them, does it make a sound?
Why did Obambi declare executive privilege? Truly thoughtful minds want do know.
I see all the media is calling this murder and criminal cover up a scandal now.
Because nobody died at the Watergate.
I’d say that Mr. Issa is a pretty good poker player.
