The judge who revoked George Zimmerman's bond did so after he determined that it was "apparent" that Zimmerman's wife had lied under oath, and clear that Zimmerman "does not properly respect the law."
Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester revoked Zimmerman's bond on June 1, but his written order was filed Monday. In it, Lester lays out his rationale.

So what you seem to be saying here, is that if Zimmerman did trail the suspect, that gave the suspect the right to take Zimmerman down and beat his head against the ground?
That’s just bazaar.
Are you trying to say that a person on neighborhood watch or something similar, doesn’t have the right to follow someone he thinks is suspicious?
That’s just bazaar.
Are you saying Zimmerman didn’t have a right to defend himself when the perp was slamming his head against the ground?
That’s just bazaar.
Are you saying the police have the right to take you phone call where you express concern, then they effectively put you under house arrest at the end of the call?
That’s just bazaar.
Lets say you are in your home and you hear something out back. You look out and a guy with a ladder is setting up under your children’s window. You call the police and they tell you to stay inside. You could pull your kids out of their room, but then the perp would have the run of your home and none of you would be safe. You go outside to confront the perp, an altercation occurs, and you wind up flat on your back on the driveway with the perp banging your head on it. If you then shoot the guy to stop him, are you guilty of not staying in the house like the police told you to? Is some poor innocent perp dead because you didn’t follow the orders of Barney Fife?
No, your family is safe because you took action. And beyond that, the perp won’t be bothering anyone else in the area. Good job!
We need a lot more Zimmerman’s out there. If criminals know they may just wind up dead after doing things they shouldn’t, perhaps they’ll avoid doing things they shouldn’t.
Travon had no business beating Zimmerman’s head on the pavement. I view that as attempted murder. Good on Zimmerman for ending the life of someone with a hair trigger, that didn’t know better than to do this sort of thing.
All this proves, is that Zimmerman was a lot better judge of character than many people are. He was dead right to keep his eye on this stick of dynamite.
By now you must be familiar with the actual transcript of the 911 call. So I conclude you’re just a troll with green nose-hairs.
LOL, I was going to respond to him and then I remembered his screen name and decided that getting beat over the head with his willful ignorance wasn’t worth it. However the Green nose-hairs truly deserved an atta-boy!
I’d like to see how clearly Judge Lester can think with a lynch mob screaming for his blood.
Then I imagine none of this would have happened.
by breaking the law; something GZ did NOT do.
If “not respecting the law” is just cause for revoking bail, then shouldn’t both Obama and the GA lawyer who ignored a judge’s order to appear in court suffer some consequences? And shouldn’t Judge Malihi himself suffer some consequences, since he’s the one who refused to certify the court record so that it could be passed on to another judge to determine what to do about contempt of court charges, as required by law?
I haven’t looked into all the details on this and I’m not a lawyer, but my gut feeling is that these judges all think they can do what they darn well please. And until we the people do something about it, that’s exactly what they will do. There is no rule of law in this country.
You’re saying the dispatcher did not advise him to stay in the car?
So was Judge Lester LYING IN A COURT PROCEEDING when he falsely accused George Zimmerman of testifying under oath that he was penniless?
Throw him in jail and don’t allow him to post bond because he clearly did the same thing he (falsely) accused George of doing!
He got $100k for defense, right?
The kid wouldnt have died at his hands, right?
The only precipitating event that led to Trayvon's death was his bashing Zimmerman's head against the concrete.
Um, he did. Oh, I get it now. You are WILLFULLY stupid.
Well, for starter; when you tell the judge at the Bail Hearing that you do not have any savings, you have no relatives that you can borrow money from, and tell him that you do not have access to any funds.
I think the word you are looking for is “bizarre”.
Didn’t the kid attack him when he was returning to his vehicle?
I believe none of this would have happened if Trayvon had not been snarking around in a neighborhood, where he was not familiar, and had not pursued and then beat up on George Zimmerman. If Trayvon had not beat George Z, he might still be alive today.
And if I understand correctly, Lester “conveniently” left off the part where Zimmerman’s wife offered to call somebody who could tell her the exact amount. If he didn’t take her up on that offer then he’s the fool. And if he accuses her of trying to deceive him because he was too stupid to take her up on it then he’s worse than a douche.
This whole case is officially a banana republic circus show. This judge is just as bad as Angela Corey, and that’s saying a LOT.
If he had stayed in his vehicle as directed, then how would the kid have been able to attack him as he was walking back to his vehicle?
I know that.
You are entirely correct. Anyone accused of a crime in our system has the right to confront their accusers. In this case the prosecution was accusing the Zimmerman’s of misleading the court — not perjury even. Judge Lester denied them a hearing on the issue. The prosecution obviously knows that they can get away with twisting the facts in his court.
it is called “black robe fever”.
It is a common term used by lawyers in describing judges.
Once a person puts on the black robe, the becomed overwhelmed with self importance. (see also “do you know who i am?!”) It is a madness particular to judges.
hence black robe fever.
