Zimmerman 'does not properly respect the law,' judge says in order revoking bond
Orlando Sentinal ^ | June 12, 2012 | Jeff Weiner

Posted on 06/12/2012 9:02:42 AM PDT by Aunt Polgara

The judge who revoked George Zimmerman's bond did so after he determined that it was "apparent" that Zimmerman's wife had lied under oath, and clear that Zimmerman "does not properly respect the law."

Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester revoked Zimmerman's bond on June 1, but his written order was filed Monday. In it, Lester lays out his rationale.

The paypal proceeds from public donations for Zimmerman’s defense was widely known and reported in the media prior to that time, so how could there have been an intent to cover this up/

This is true. And while Zimmerman may have been 'less than wise' in his trying to figure all this out; think his integrity cannot; should not; be diminished for lack of a more thoughtful 'wisdom'. Those behind this story; OTOH. . .show a marked determination to unfairly, convict Zimmerman before trial.

Given, too the bounty offered literally, for his head; the threats to his home, family and extended family; it is no wonder; that when speaking of the money; he and his wife used code. Speaking openly, could well have motivated more to act against him.

And with this calculation considered; not sure George was not being 'wise' after all.

“And what makes you think that he went after the kid that nite???”

ABCCBSCNNNBCFOX/AP said it, so it MUST be true!

Yes. Read the transcript. He did no such thing.

Quote the transcript that tells him to STAY in the car or even RETURN to his vehicle (pick-up).

Cite law that says a dispatcher, not a police officer, has legal authority to tell you what to do.

Quote the transcript and law. Word. For. Word.

You can’t.

Why?

Your feeling’s over-rule facts, thought and logic.

I am now done, as you are well known as deliberately ignorant and obtuse, as well as driven by racial politics.

Have a nice day.

If you read what I wrote, then obviously that isn’t at all what I’m saying, it’s what you are saying. When you say someone seems to be saying something, that means you hear what you want, not what was said.

I am saying that if he had stayed in his car as the dispatcher directed, then none of this would have happened.

He was not on the phone with a DISPATCHER. Are you a friggin’ idiot or just ignored all facts that are out about this case?

Just think. If little (6’2”) Trayvon hadn’t listened to the drugs in his system and gone back to put the beatdown on Zimmerman he would still be among us.

Didn’t the kid attack him when he was returning to his vehicle?

Yes but how does that reconcile with your first statement???? What law prevents someone from getting out of his car and watching a suspicious person, particularly when one is head of the neighborhood watch program???

Depends on the law. I have zero respect for the law that allows murdering children in the womb.

“...he determined that it was “apparent” that Zimmerman’s wife had lied under oath...”

So, she was charged with perjury then?

If Trayvon had just gone on home when Zimmerman “lost him” instead of circling back around to initiate the confrontation, how would Trayvon have been killed?

“he now has given the Prosecution the best weapon they could possibly have hoped for, ‘reasonable doubt’”

Huh? The burden of proving their case beyond a reasonable doubt is on the prosecution, not the defense. If Zimmerman has no respect for law you have no knowledge of law.

Incredible; that everything he says regarding Zimmerman; implies a guilty action on his behalf. This Judge has personally, made the effort to destroy any integrity that Zimmerman has; by saying that he LIED about his funds, et al and hence his recall to jail.

I don't know when refraining to speculate about ones access to funds became "lying," but it's certainly a law I wouldn't respect.....

The “kid” attacked him, Einstein. Zimmerman was walking back to his vehicle when the “kid” attacked him.

Please provide proof (such as a neutral witness statement) that Martin attacked Zimmerman.

Zimmerman's injuries prove only that he can't fight (but he sure can scream). They do not prove who started the fight at all.

The witness statements that Zimmerman was on bottom again just prove that he can't fight, not who started the fight.

So, please, provide proof of your statement.

What is your point? Just let hoods burglarize the homes? GZ had every right to find out who TM was and why he was acting suspiciously. GZ did confront TM, he called police to report his observations. TM attacked him after he headed back to his vehicle, contrary to your assertion.

Are you 12 years old? This is a grown up issue.

“if he had stayed in his car as the dispatcher directed”

Good gawd.

Are you really this ignorant and that much of a troll?

And as everyone is pointing out, the dispatcher did not direct him to “stay” in his car.

Good gawd, you get even the most basic facts wrong.......even when the facts are laid out in print and easy to read and comprehend.

Rule #17: NEVER Piss Off a judge !

Actually, I think some of them could use to be pissed off, or pissed on, or generally tarred, feathered, beaten, and otherwise run out of town.
But that may be because I believe the Judiciary sees itself not only above the law, but declarers of what the law is, and therefore above all others. (i.e. they believe themselves to be black robed god-kings.)

He didn’t stay in his car, that’s how he got attacked returning to his car, right?

You’re saying the dispatcher did not advise him to stay in the car?

No. She told him "we don't need you to do that."
