Ed Kleins blockbuster new best-seller about President Barack Obama chronicles Obamas insulting snubs of staunch supporter Caroline Kennedy, the sole surviving child of President John F. Kennedy.
Caroline even become so disgusted by Obama she called him a liar and worse.
Kleins just-released book Amateur: Barack Obama in the White House skyrocketed to the No. 1 spot on the New York Times best-seller list in its first week in publication and has remained there for the third week in a row.
Klein offers surprising behind-the-scenes details about Obama and First Lady Michelle Obamas relationship with Caroline and other members of the Kennedy clan.
Like Oprah Winfrey, Caroline Kennedy is among the high-profile Democrats who have been largely frozen out of the White House, in part due to protective senior adviser Valerie Jarrett, Klein discloses.
During the 2008 primary campaign, Caroline enthusiastically supported Obama, comparing him to her father JFK. She and her uncle, Senator Ted Kennedy, broke long standing ties to Bill and Hillary Clinton to strongly back Obama in the contested 2008 Democratic primary.
Caroline even described Obama as the heir to her fathers political legacy, writing, I have never had a president who inspired me the way people tell me that my father inspired them. But for the first time, I believe I have found the man who could be that president not just for me, but for a new generation of Americans.
And Caroline and Sen. Kennedys support even caused a rupture in the Kennedy clan, known for its tight family bond.

Rush reported in '08 that Ted became thoroughly indignant at Clinton telling him that "a few years ago, this guy would've been fetching us coffee!"
So, now that the Kennedys proved they're not racists...

At a White House reception, Caroline said shaking hands with the first lady was like shaking hands with a cold fish.
And just as slimey.
Caroline was annoyed by what she called odious comparisons in the media between her mother Jackie and Michelle.
Jacqueline Kennedy was a nice lady. Michelle Obama is just annoying
Caroline ultimately became so disillusioned about Obama that she said: I cant stand to hear his voice anymore. Hes a liar and worse.
LOL Join the crowd, Caroline.

This is just an attempt to separate the Kennedy family from the “next Kennedy”; these dirtbags tripped arse over elbow to jump on the bandwagon, now they’re scrambling for parachutes.
There is nothing positive about conceding you helped a con man hoodwink America, especially in light of the damage he has done in three and a half years.

Caroline heard back from White House sources that the president and first lady made catty remarks about how badly the Kennedy women dressed and how their homes were shabby. Moochelle on "how badly the Kennedy women dressed"!!??? LOL! I hold no brief for the Kennedys, but I can't remember any Kennedy woman ever appearing in public other than tastefully dressed -- as opposed to the truly bizarre and vulgar get-ups Moochelle favors!

I listened to the audio version of Ed Klein's books and the main takeaway I got was how Obama has used and thrown away everyone he needed to get where he is.
The point Klein was making is that he has no one to go out now and speak for him. Clinton is a perfect example and the other is sending Axelrod out on the campaign trail, what a disaster.

Try to hang the ‘racist’ label on Bill Clinton and that’s outrageous. Try to hang the racist label on all GOP pols and half of the country and that’s just good ol’ Democrat politics.
Still, it’s nice to see the infighting make the press.

From reading the comments here, it sounds like Caroline Kennedy despised him and called him a liar, yet she never voiced this opinion publicly. To allow the public to think you support someone you think is a liar, says a lot about Caroline and other Democrats like her.
They care more about being accepted in the Democratic social circle than the good of the country. She got what she deserved.

IIRC, I’m pretty sure Michelle and Valerie also have an anti-Irish bias after working for and then being dismissed by the Daley’s in Chicago. Something about Michelle and Valerie hating the control all those Irish pols had in Chicago.

Thats how I look at it as well. Obama needs to be hung arround the necks of democrats, all of them, for as long as a hot summer day lasts, like a piece of stinking rotting meat.
There is no longer any democrat I want to have a cup of coffee or a cold beer with. None.

I understand; I don’t even make small talk with the libs I can’t avoid (such as at work). They are pawns in a dangerous game they themselves don’t even understand.

What a difference 230 years--and a little class, some real character, and a lot of Patriotism--make....
The man who would not be King....
In May 1782, Colonel Lewis Nicola wrote to Washington He reviewed the different forms of government and arrived at the conclusion that republics were the least stable of governments, and the least capable of protecting the freedoms that they were fighting for. He went on to write that he had little hope that the United States would prosper under such a form of government and that the English Constitutional Monarchy was as near perfect a political system as could be created by mortal man. He continued by writing that the American people would be more comfortable with that familiar form of government and added:
"In this case it will, I believe, be uncontroverted, that the same abilities which led us through difficulties apparently insurmountable by human power to victory and glory these qualities, that have merited and obtained the universal esteem and veneration of an army would be most likely to conduct and direct us in the smoother paths of peace. Some people have so connected the idea of tyranny and monarchy as to find it very difficult to separate them. It may, therefore, be required to give the head of such a constitution as I propose some title apparently more moderate; but, if all other things were once adjusted, I believe string [stringent?] arguments might be produced for admitting the title of King, which I conceive would be attended with some national advantage."
It must have come as a surprise to the Colonel and his confederates when they received a prompt and severe rebuke for their efforts. Washingtons response was:
Sir,
With a mixture of great surprise and astonishment, I have read with attention the sentiments you have submitted to my perusal. Be assured sir, no occurrence in the course of this was has given me more painful sensations than your information of there being such ideas existing in the army as you have express, and which I must view with abhorrence and reprehend with severity.
For the present, the communication of them will rest in my own bosom, unless some further agitation of the matter shall make a disclosure necessary.
I am much at a loss to conceive what part of my conduct could have given encouragement to an address which to me seems big with the greatest mischiefs that could befall my country. If I am not deceived in the knowledge of myself, you could not have found a person to whom your schemes are more disagreeable. At the same time, in justices to my own feelings, I must add, that no man possesses a more serious wish to see amply justice done to the army than I do; and, as far as my power and influence will permit, in a constitutional way, they shall be employed to the utmost of my abilities to effect it, should there be any occasion.
Let me conjure you, then, if you have any regard for your country, concern for yourself or posterity, or respect for me, to banish these thoughts from your mind, and never communicate, as from your self or anyone else, a sentiment of the like nature.
I am, Etc.
Geo. Washington
Colonel Nicola, spokesperson for his fellow officers, handed Washington the opportunity to become King! Yet, without hesitation it was turned down in no uncertain terms. A truly lasting tribute to his patriotic character.

Know the feeling. Done talking. Even with some members of my own family. They simply refuse to admit the damage done by voting for a tingle up the leg.
