(Reuters) - President Barack Obama's administration called on Congress to do more to help the economy create jobs, with Labor Secretary Hilda Solis saying May's rise in the unemployment rate was unacceptable.
"Congress has to take some action because while we see the unemployment rate where it is, it's not acceptable," Solis told the CNBC network on Friday.

Really? Is it really?
Your career dissipation light is starting to blink and as the summer and fall approach I expect you will get bonding migraines as that thing goes full tilt blinking ever faster and brighter.
“Run to light Barry! Run!”
“Yes you Can’t!”

Can cries of “Those Eeeeeevil Grrrrrrreeedy Corporations are hoarding PILES OF CASH and DELIBERATELY not hiring people because they want to destroy our First Black President” be very far behind?
Hey Barry, wait til you check out those November 2012 employment numbers!
Naw, the really stoopit part is they found a way to tamp down the real number.
Every week they have to revise their numbers and this will make the 40th week in a row they will pull this stunt.
I expect the numbers to be revised by the middle of the month, certainly by July 4th showing a sharper increase than previously reported.
I predict we go into summer @ 8.4% with a lower than expected CPI as consumers sharply decrease spending due to fears of the economy and high fuel prices.
He’s frackin’ stupid for one thing........

Then he should call off his EPA, get rid of Dodd Frank, and cancel obamacare.
It's about money....She's figuring on doing the circuit and dumping her "idiot husband".
What Obama and his minions don’t realize is the tremendous effect a leader can have in setting the tone. And that capital CAN MOVE from where it isn’t wanted to were it is.
In the 80s, Reagan made it quite clear that he was pro-business, encouraging investment, and would try to run his administration in a helpful way - and we saw the results.
In contrast, from DAY ONE, Obama has been hostile to business both in comments and policy. His administration has gone out of its way to put more regulatory roadblocks in the way of everyday businesses. He’s blamed business and wealthy people for almost every trivial problem in society.
And we see the results.
this is 100% on idiotic Obama
.... time for another vacation!!
Beauuuuuuuuuuuuutiful!
Bobo's bracket picking ability is ranked in the top 1% at ESPN.com. That takes some serious attention to detail. Word has it he governs the White House tennis court reservations better than Jimmy Carter did. Of course Mantoinette gets top priority.
I agree. Congress should immediately pass a combination of tax and spending cut.
Ya, I remember Michael Moore among other, had commented that corporations had “trillions of dollars in cash” but were not using it.
Moore said that the cash was being hoarded, and that this cash was a “national resource”, which should be used for the good of the people, or something along those lines.
Michael Moore is personally a multi-millionaire. Maybe he could set an example, and share some of his cash. Show us how it’s done.
Strong words are easy when you are leading from behind (again!)
March and April numbers have already been revised downward by 49,000.
Mike's net worth is estimated at $50 million.
That would mean about 500 bucks for each resident of his hometown of Flint Mich.
A significant amount of booze, grass, and blow.
There you go. Trending.....
