U.S. Army General: The Whole Northern Hemisphere is at Risk of Becoming Largely Uninhabitable
SHTFplan ^ | 25th May, 2012 | Mac Slavo

It’s estimated that tens of thousands of people in Japan and the whole of North America have been affected, with reports indicating that children in Japan and the U.S. are already being born with birth defects, as well as thousands who have already succumbed to radiation related illness. As we initially followed the breaking news during the first thirty days of the accident, we suggested the Fukushima disaster would be worse than Chernobyl. Not even we could have imagined how much worse it would be.

The MSM is nothing but a propaganda machine. Every piece they report skews facts based on current political correctness. The truth needs to be maleable, you see.

Why even bother listening or watching the MSM? I shot my TV in 2000, literally, and get all of my news from web sources
that are truthful.

If there WAS a fallout problem, the MSM would politicize the matter to the point that people would be committing suicide. They are panic mongers, war mongers, rascist mongers, sex mongers....PIMPS.

Why get your news from a pimp? They wouldn’t know the truth even if they fell over it.

"What about Hiroshima then and now?"

Other than people killed from the immediate effects of the blast and radiation, Hiroshima's death rate is now LOWER from all causes compared with other similar cities.

"the price for one of these [dosimeters] is small and can bring you peace of mind."

The problem is that dosimeters only measure measurable radiation. The author seems to be worried about immeasurable phantom radiation.

There is more foolish from the loony left. Even Chernobyl only killed a handful of people and there were no long term side effects.

Not to mention that in the early days, the Russian workers processed plutonium by hand wearing paper uniforms ... most lived, and all would do it again for the Motherland.

I initially read your post too fast...had a good laugh, now I see the word correctly (tentacles), still funny though.

“with reports indicating that children in Japan and the U.S. are already being born with birth defects,”

Of course children are being born with birth defects, just as they were before the disaster.

Ok, you do realize that the uranium fuel in the atomic bombs was only a few pounds much of which was consumed by fission in the blast?

The Fukishima plants have thousands of tons of uranium onsite which are at risk of burning whereby radioactive particulate is released into the environment with very little fission to consume the fuel beforehand.

A few pounds vs. thousands of tons is a significant scaling issue.

As it is written —”...the sorrow of the world produces death.” 2Cor.7.10.and elsewhere “Cursed is the man who puts his trust in man,who makes flesh his arm,and is turned from God.Jeremiah 17.5 IMO this military mind was offering a
worst case scenario. It may happen—may not. If we can do
anything to change it we ought be about it. If not like they taught us in public school back in the Cold War era Bend over put your head between your legs and Kiss your arse goodbye. These scenarios have been presented since we developed the Fat Boy to deliver to Japan -seems we may be getting the blowback from that —eh?

I have a radiation survey meter that I bought 25 years ago at a garage sale for $5.

Last year I sent it to www.KI4U.com to have it repaired and calibrated.

Took it to the grocery store.

Veggies and fruit = no reading.

Shelves of canned tuna = .05 rads/hr.

What does that mean?

I am not an alarmist about background radiation. However, I am concerned when extreme Greens rejoice in the “death lottery” and the reduction of human population via Fukushima.

Tsutomu Yamaguchi, who survived both the Hiroshima and Nagasaki blasts, died not too long ago at the age of 93. It may be anecdotal, but I hve also heard that there are quite a few survivors who are enjoying good health. I don't know if this is due to hormesis or the life-long medical care they are receiving.

> An atomic bomb was set off right inside of Hiroshima, yet more than 5 million people live there today.
I have a Japanese friend who lived through the Hiroshima bombing. Yes, he did get burned at the time, but he survived and got over it. To the best of my knowledge, he has not permanent scars or radiation related problems. He is a pediatrician who lived in Buffalo, NY for about 10 years when I knew him and who now lives in Osaka, Japan.

"you do realize that the uranium fuel in the atomic bombs was only a few pounds much of which was consumed by fission in the blast? The Fukishima plants have thousands of tons of uranium."

You are comparing the mass of weapon grade fissionable material in a bomb with the total mass of spent fuel rods. First, only a fraction of the mass of a spent fuel rod is uranium. Second, there is no weapon grade uranium in a spent fuel rod.

Check the sources for this ‘data’:
http://www.lifespirit.org/NSF-Main-Index.htm

These are helium breathing kooks on stilts.

General Stubblebine is kind of interesting too:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_Stubblebine

I think the good general is not far removed from this colonel:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9oBiD7-kAM&feature=related

In the 1970’s the same kind of people predicted death by another ice age, and/or starvation. Yesterday it was global warming and eating too much. Right now the GOP is pushing the idea of the extinction of freedom if a certain idle and stupid cokehead is reelected, because he is so omniopotent and the nation is so feeble. The Democrats are pushing the end of the world if everyone is compelled to actually work for a living or we use plastic grocery bags.

I would put ALL of this down to Chicken Little Pox. Anyway, off to work, as the world is not going to end and the utility bills will still be due.
