http://www.wnd.com/2012/05/a-goode-plan-to-save-american-jobs/?cat_orig=money
As President Obama and likely Republican nominee Mitt Romney remain locked in a virtual dead heat, is there any room for a third party to make a statement or even be competitive in 2012?
Thats the hope of the Constitution Party and its nominee, Virgil Goode.
Goode says Obamas spending is completely out of control but Republican proposals are also not good enough because he says the budget needs to be balanced now and not in a few years or a couple of generations from now.
I would submit a balanced budget if elected president, and it would be painful, Goode told WND.
He expects a fierce fight with Congress about cutting spending, but his plan would not focus on entitlement reforms. Instead, Goode envisions big cuts in discretionary spending both in the defense and domestic portions of the budget. When it comes to jobs, Goodes top priorities are to end illegal immigration and nearly put a stop to legal immigration in order to prevent foreign workers from competing with Americans for the job opportunities that exist.
Weve got to focus on discretionary spending, social-services programs. For instance, Ill make sure illegals and recent immigrants dont get food stamps, said Goode.
Goode says he would also seek to repeal Obama administration regulations that he says are stifling job creation. He would start with the Obama health care-laws which Goode considers the most repressive to job creators. The former congressman says he is not a spoiler in the race but is a much needed voice on fiscal responsibility, ending government programs for illegal immigrants and other issues.

Well...you just might be right.
For many here on FR, morals are based or derived from a religious component in ones' life or upbringing.
Attempting to shame or badger people into violating their conscience, hence, their morals, based on your own personal worldview to appease others is despicable.
You have a problem with spelling, Obama is not spelled G.O.O.D.E, it is spelled O.b.a.m.a

Agamemnon is right to point out that the two men standing for election (reelection) as president could not be where they are against God’s Will.
________________________________
Why not ???
You make it sound sanctimonious and “biblical”
but you are either unschooled in God and His Word, the Bible...
or you dont understand that God gave the people a king not because he wanted them to be like other nations and serve a man, but because he wanted to show them they didnrt need any king but He, Himself...
For them most of those kings were a curse and not a blessing...
Most of them got the Israelites into a heap of trouble, wars and economic hardships...
God’s “will” ???
are you trying to say that God has purposely chosen anbd “anointed” Willie Mitty to be king and lord over us ???
or are you merely saying God raises up and puts down ???
King David was the perfect choice of God...
but David was an adulterer...
Most of the RomneyBots would not have voted for him using that as an excuse...
He wasnt as goodlooking as his brothers...
Most of the RomneyBots want to admire a faded matinee idol fooling themselves that he “looks presidential”
Lincoln was homely and the RomneyBots would not have voted for him..
Moses would have needed a teleprompter if he was running for office...
But the RomneyBots want to hear Willie Mitty as he tickles their ears...
However God looks at the heart of the man and he chose David to be king as he chose Moses to frre the Hebrew slaves and as he chose and used Lincoln to free the black slaves here in America...
Would God really look at the heart of Willie Mitty and declare he is “a man after God’s own heart” as He did for Moses ???
Would God look at the heart of Willie Mitty and declare “he is the one” as He did for David ???
If you really believed that “the two men standing for election (reelection) as president could not be where they are against God’s Will.” then why are you trying to get rid of Obama who from your words is God’s own chosen man ???
From out of your own mouth you have condemned yourself ...
You want a walkback ???
or do you still stand by Obama is in “God’s will”
and if you are then you are in danger of fighting God Himself...
Your bold words could get you into trouble..
Cant you see that?
Oh NO; Mr. Jeff!
We are WELL trained in what we do!
We are WELL trained in what we do!
But we might as WELL BE!!! if we don't vote for the ONLY man that can SAVE this country!!
--MormonDude(..and it's threadbare Constitution, as well...)
Is that you Belteshazzar?
I hope you were astonished for one hour before posting.
I’ve weighed Romney in the political balance and found him wanting and I’ve been astonished ever since he started running for president.
Well, if Reagan conservatism - pro-life, pro-family, pro-constitution, pro-sovereignty, pro-border security, peace through strength, pro-liberty - represents you, you could vote for me, for example.
Tom Hoefling for President 2012
Or, if you lean more Ron Paul paleo-con isolationist you could vote for the Constitution Party's candidate.
Or, if you're a Libertarian, you can vote Libertarian.
Etc.
The two pro-choice democrat socialists being offered by the historically "major" parties are not the only choices.
The American people should support the candidates who represent them, especially in the presidential contest.
If they don't, the result is obvious. A total distortion of reality. No representation for conservatives, or conservatism, at all.
She said, "King David got a woman pregnant, then killed her". My Pastor, his wife and others in the congregation heard the same thing I did.
Hope she just mispoke...
David killed Uriah the husband of Bathsheba...
BTW hows the family ???
:)
Being in a probable battleground state, I will hold my nose and vote so as to evict Obama.
Good post at #39. I also believe Romney is a good and decent man. He deserves our support in his effort to bring down one of the biggest threats that this great nation has ever faced.
Yep, sure grey, keep telling yourself all of that.
I thanked betty for what she posted and the experiences she had and shared. Did the same with Ag.
In the particular post in question, where you commented to me, I responded to Yash when my name was specifically mentioned in a post to me about BB, myself, and Ag. with those allegations regarding licking boots, unimaginable fear and social autistics.
No attempt to hijack the thread in the least, or to come to anyone’s aid per sey...just responding to the petty and vitriolic allegations.
Oh well. Looks like that really turned the nest over becasue I can see the whole gang is here now to address the perceived issue...not unexpected. It was probably past time for the echo chamber to kick into gear anyway.
As I told Yash, and appealed for joint cause...I know we need the most conservative principled people we can get elected put into office in the House and Senate in any case. And in the State Houses and County Court Houses as well. We must do this in any case in the effort to turn our Rpeublic around and I think we can all at least have common cause in that endeaver.
We can agree to make that happen and work together on it. even if it’s clear we are going to differ on the top of the ticket, which is just one part of the whole.
Y’all have a good evening.
Yep, that's what I did.
1. Implemented Gay Marriage
In 1994, called President Bill Clintons dont ask, dont tell military policy the first of a number of steps that will ultimately lead to gays and lesbians being able to serve openly and honestly in our nations military. The Washington Post, 12/21/06
When a 2002 Constitutional Amendment was proposed to ban same-sex marriage, Romney opposed it. The Boston Globe, 3/22/02
2. Supported Abortion
Speaking at a bioethics forum, GOP gubernatorial hopeful Mitt Romney yesterday endorsed embryonic stem cell research. The Boston Globe, 6/14/02
I believe that abortion should be safe and legal in this country. I have since the time that my mom took that position when she ran in 1970 as a US Senate candidate. I believe that since Roe v. Wade has been the law for 20 years we should sustain and support it. The Boston Globe, 3/2/06)
I will preserve and protect a womans right to choose, and am devoted and dedicated to honoring my word in that regard. I will not change any provisions of Massachusetts pro-choice laws. (2002 Romney-OBrien Gubernatorial Debate, Suffolk University, Boston, MA, 10/29/02)
3. Nominated 27 out of 36 extreme left-wing Progressive Liberal judges
2005, The Boston Globe Romney has passed over GOP lawyers for three-quarters (75%) of the 36 judicial vacancies he has faced, instead tapping registered Democrats or independents including two gay lawyers who have supported expanded same-sex rights.
Of the 36 people Romney named to be judges or clerk magistrates, 23 are either registered Democrats or unenrolled voters who have made multiple contributions to Democratic politicians or who voted in Democratic primaries, state and local records show. In all, he has nominated nine registered Republicans, 13 unenrolled voters, and 14 registered Democrats.
4. Implemented an Assault Weapons ban.
See number 9's context.
5. Implemented Socialized Medicine with a $50 Abortion
Mitt Romney's tenure as governor of Massachusetts was the creation of Commonwealth Care, a state-run, state-subsidized health insurance program for people making up to 300 percent of the federal poverty level. Although private insurers provide the coverage, the state helps pay the bills and determines what services must be covered.
The bill includes abortion. Cost is free to a co-pay of $50.
Romney has recently sought to distance himself from some details of the plan, but he has touted it in debates and interviews as a model for the nation.
"I love it. It's a fabulous program," Romney said during a May 3, 2007, Republican debate in Simi Valley, Calif. 6. Raised taxes/fees by $700 million.
7. Implemented a Carbon Cap and Trade system
As Massachusetts governor, Romney, in 2003, joined in support of a compact among several northeastern states to reduce carbon emissions from power plants. In a letter to then-New York Gov. George Pataki, he said, "I concur that climate change is beginning to affect our natural resources and that now is the time to take action toward climate protection." The Economist named him a "Climate-Friendly" Republican in 2004.
8. Supported Amnesty for Illegals.
Illegal immigrants should have a chance to obtain citizenship., The Lowell Sun, 3/30/06)
9. Supported the Brady Bill
I will take stands that put him at odds with some traditional ultra- conservative groups, and cite my support for the assault rifle ban and the Brady gun control law. Thats not going to make me the hero of the NRA, he said. I dont line up with a lot of special interest groups. Boston Herald, 9/23/94)
10. Supported and forced Gay Adoption
May 10, 2012 Romney said to Neil Cavoto: "I happen to believe that the best setting for raising a child is where this is the opportunity to a mom and a dad to be in the home," Romney said. "I know there are many circumstances where that is not possible, through death or divorce. I also know many gay couples are able to adopt children. That's fine."
11. Supported Global Warming.
I think the global warming debate is now pretty much over and people recognize the need associated with providing sources which do not generate the heat that is currently provided by fossil fuels Cape Cod Times, 3/14/03)
Now that there was just plain funny!
