Joe Biden just might go down in history as the guy who forced Barack Obama to publicly announce his private support for gay marriage.
But the vice president is no hero in the West Wing, and administration officials are struggling to cast Obama’s truly historic — and risky — announcement as something more than an election-year shotgun wedding.
Obama’s interview with ABC’s Robin Roberts capped a frenetic half-week of backstage political maneuvering after Biden said he was “comfortable” with gay marriage during a TV interview that was taped Friday and aired Sunday. It followed the passage Tuesday of an anti-gay marriage ballot initiative in North Carolina that illustrated the divisions in typically cohesive Obama constituencies, including women, Hispanics and blacks. And it exposed a few divisions in the Obama-Biden camp.
Senior administration officials admit that Biden’s comment was, indeed, the catalyst for Obama to make his historic announcement weeks earlier than planned.
But Biden’s remarks on “Meet the Press” deeply annoyed Obama’s team, people close to the situation tell POLITICO, because it aggrandized his role at the expense of Obama’s yeoman efforts on behalf of the community and pushed up the timing of a sensitive announcement they had hoped to break — at a time and place of their own choosing — in the weeks leading up to the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte this fall.

I call BS. This was another “manufactured” crisis by the left. And we are all falling for it. Watch for more stories on how poor man child Obama had to make a “gutsy” call to clarify his position.

My take on this is
Biden was actually trying to help the poor bloke by drawing the fire away from Obama on the issue, but Obama couldn’t handle Biden getting any press, just ridiculous, so now Obama is “mad”
Obama doesn’t really have to tell anyone in words he supports the homosexual agenda.......
They can try, but how entertaining it is that the dems are hosting their convention in right-to-work and pro-traditional marriage North Carolina.
I agree. This was orchestrated. When the SEALS took out OBL no one fell for the “gutsy” move after zero’s letter of blame came out. This just shows their desperation to portray the loser as “gutsy”. He’s not gutsy, just an abomination.
I assume that John Travolta will be flying his private jet to L.A. today with his male masseur.

More proof Obama is an amateur.
Interestingly, his core support (poor blacks) are rather bigoted, as a group, against homosexuals. It may not make them vote for Richy Rich, but it may keep them from voting.
I think this may be his official “jump the shark” moment.
I say Biden was not speaking out of turn. This was clearly planned because of all of the recent noise about ObaMao’s stand.
Biden merely launched the trial balloon, then ObaMugabe was able to appear in a so-called interview with the homo interviewer with a perceived reason to be given a chance to explain his view.
Anyone who does not realize how everything the Soros administration does is well orchestrated through the Propaganda Ministry once known as the the news media is kidding himself.

This whole scenario was well-planned. Marxists are excellent strategists. Few of their strategeries are mistakes. The results may be catastrophic, but the strategeries generally run like clockwork.
Biden, by design, set the stage for Obama's drama queen TV "special" already planned. The willing network paged the willing interviewer-ette, Robin Roberts. Obama powdered up, took the stage, then became the star of the carefully-planned reality outing-event beamed to the lumpen masses.
Then, notice how Obama immediately phoned his willing stooge, the "evangelist", Rev. Joel Hunter. In a carefully-prepared bit of hogwash, Hunter stated he wasn't really in support of gay marriage, but he strongly stated he remained in continual support of Obama. Situational ethics and a nicely-balanced pronouncement by a so-called preacher of God.
How many folks know that Hunter, who commands a 15,000 strong congregation near Orlando, prays every week with Obama. Also, last February, Michelle went out of her way to make a special appearance at his church.
Fifteen thousand souls in a church that's located in a big electoral vote state plus tens of thousands more hopefully-gullible evangelicals within earshot across the "solid south" ain't a mere bagatelle.....and this, with the good reverend as a willing, pre-orchestrated tool is the strategery devised by Obama and his marxist, atheistic, Christian/Bible hating fascist thugs occupying the White House.
From Biden to Obama to the television network, to the TV audience, to the heretical preacher to the evangelicals across the fruited plain....all planned and carried out to perfection by Obama's re-election strategists.....
...maybe.
The results of the ploy will not be known till the final battle on November 6.
