Russia’s most senior military officer said Thursday that Moscow would preemptively strike and destroy U.S.-led NATO missile defense sites in Eastern Europe if talks with Washington about the developing system continue to stall.
“A decision to use destructive force preemptively will be taken if the situation worsens,” Russian Chief of General Staff Nikolai Makarov said at an international missile defense conference in Moscow attended by senior U.S. and NATO officials.
The threat comes as talks about the missile defense system, which the U.S. and its allies insist is aimed at Iranian missiles, appear to have stalled.
“We have not been able to find mutually-acceptable solutions at this point and the situation is practically at a dead end,” Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov said.
Ellen Tauscher, the U.S. special envoy for strategic stability and missile defense, insisted the talks about NATO plans for a missile defense system using ground-based interceptor missiles stationed in Poland, Romania and Turkey were not stalemated.

1.) China announces several years back that they had begun an economic war against the US.
2.) Russia has been threatening NATO in regards to missile defense sites in Europe.
3.) NATO is meeting in Chicago at McCormick Place on the Near South Side in 2 weeks.
4.) There are planned “military exercises” for the NEXT week/weekend involving Russian paratroopers using US weapons and armament to “take and hold” the CIA main computer building in CO, the NSA main computer building in Utah, as well as Denver International Airport. Add to that the Chinese DESTROYERS, SUBS, and HOSPITAL SHIP that are sailing across the Pacific at this moment?
Anyone else a little confused as to how our President or our military can justify holding joint military exercises with countries who are threatening our safety and stability, and that of the entire Western World?
This smells to high heaven, especially when you add in the ties between these countries and terrorists, Fast and Furious and the connection between cartels and terrorist cells, Obama’s insistence on NOT enforcing illegal immigration laws...
Am I alone in seeing this, or are others (esp. current or former military personnel) seeing how bad this may indeed be. I fear that Obama is enough of an idiot to LET Russia and China take over thinking they’ll let him have a piece of the pie or something.
In other words am I the ONLY one that doesn’t trust the Russians and Chinese to actually LET GO of those sites once they’re inside???

I don’t know where you get this. I wrote Osama as in Osama Bin Laden... It takes more than ordering a hit on Osama to insure global safety, it is a more comprehensive approach.
Of course, here the Soviet aparatus is somehow trying to trigger a default to UN and international bureaucratic subserviance in the creating of this problem, and they feel confident to navigate this political-military-bureau complex to their peace benefit.
This is a pretext because the Soviet/Russia aparatus sees itself losing on the Iranian front eventualy, looking like they are the real freaks of the world. So they have to precipitate a conflict over third party reasons such as the nuclear shield or what not.
As for Obama himself, he sure is inadequate to say the least, and punishing others of his own presence of incompetence in self hate, much like rapists do. He has lived by the rape as a raped child, and, much like a prostitute feminists who only see men through the prism of sex, it is all that Obama is looking at things, rape or accept being raped. He has no other imagination.
The automatisms of quick condemnation he preaches I do not, but discoveries, trials and tribulations it will be. The only ones threatening the President are those who are corrupt and who live by automatisms and empowerments - Columbia scandal style. That was an epic moment in making this bureaucratic thuggery acceptable in his own very bureaucratic circle. WHat was it he said? FORWARD? OH, really...

I haven’t been following this stuff for many years. I just think back to all the “it will never work” comments back at the start of the SDI programs. Guess it does work. If it didn’t the Russians wouldn’t be so worked up about it.
It's the entanglements and stupid "relationships", the ones the ignoramuses of MFN/NAFTA/globalists claim to be for, yet they have no clue about real relationships beyond making a quick easy buck. The State Department is neck deep to the nose in that excrement of "relationships", these cowards who only think about getting first class tickets and medical care wherever they work, and having it all nicey nice around them, so much so they did not want to go to Iraq and do their jobs.
These relationships are a psycho passive aggressive behavior of our enemies, much like the psycho who wants to wear the same cloth as you and have the same looks and hair, before going to kill you. It's a two prongued attack, one with a nuclear face, the other with a nicey nice infiltration and control and destruction of identity resulting in a paralysis from ability to effectively retaliate.
But there also is a creepy motion by the RUssians here. They want to be nicey nice with us, controling the SDI project, stealing our jobs and identities, so to speak, being friends by force of threats, basically. And we are letting them intimidate us.
This is what it is all about: surrender or we will attack, in gradual fashions of “relationship” “building”.
Also, this is not about war, this is about control.
Russia is perfectly happy with the anti missile system being built, but Russia insists that Russians will have the root passwords to the system and Russian technicians will man the control centers for the missiles.
They are fine with it if they control the system. If not, it won't be built.
Zero can play tough and give the Russians the passwords and control centers quietly, APPEARING to back the Russians down and build the system.
All of your examples are similar form of quiet cooperation with Russia and China, so yes, there is a pattern here.
What few people remember is Reagan offered to share the SDI technology with the Russians (Gorbachev) to prove they could trust him and the US.
"Trust but verify" did work both ways and the Russians dealt with Reagan with respect and trust, Reagan returned the same with inspections for both sides, by both sides.
Not a shot was fired, not a shot was threatened, and the Soviet Union (and the Warsaw Pact) went away because it wasn't necessary.
Now look what Clintoon and Zero have wrought by being untrustworthy cowards.

Like I said the Russians are good at threats. They are not going to attack a NATO missile shield. Not gonna happen. If The quisling we jokingly refer to as the president was not sitting in the oval office they probably wouldn’t even make that threat.
