There is an interesting story about the 2008 election coming out of Wikileaks. Memos from Stratfor released by Wikileaks say that widespread voter fraud occurred in Ohio and that “black Dems were caught stuffing the ballot boxes in Philly.” The McCain campaign knew about the fraud but feared taking action because of the “possibility of domestic violence” if they challenged the results in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
The memos say campaign staff urged candidate John McCain to act in court:
“Staff felt they could get a federal injunction to stop the process.”
One of the Wikileaked memos says: “Sen. McCain chose not to fight.” The reason?
The memo states:
“McCain felt the crowds assembled in support of Obama and such would be detrimental to our country and it would do our nation no good for this to drag out like last go around, coupled with the possibility of domestic violence.”
With the blessings of hindsight, we see that fear of mob violence in our country is no longer a hypothetical in the mind of a presidential candidate. The call by the New Black Panther Party in Sanford, Florida, to seize (or kill) a private citizen is no longer the stuff of a senator’s imagination.
Recall Philadelphia was where the entire New Black Panther Party controversy started on election night. Poll watcher Bartle Bull has opined that one purpose of the presence of the New Black Panthers was to intimidate poll watchers, the exact people trained to detect and memorialize polling place misbehavior. That’s another reason why the dismissal of the lawsuit by the Holder Justice Department, even before discovery took place to investigate the events in Philadelphia, was such a blow to the rule of law.
Whether or not ballot boxes were stuffed by “black Dems” in Philadelphia is probably something we will never know. What we do know is this: First, that people in the McCain campaign thought they had evidence of election tampering that cost McCain the election. Second, that McCain thought it best for the country to do nothing about it, in part because of fears of mob violence.
America is coasting along a slippery surface, and small concessions to the mob can resonate in ways we can’t predict. In seven months, we have a chance to reverse the mistakes of 2008, even if only to stand up to the mob this time.
Which raises the problem of Philadelphia. Obviously something is going very wrong in City of Brotherly Love. Elections there are a big giant spigot for the Left to keep the state blue. GOP poll watchers are thrown out of precincts, New Black Panthers stalk the polls, and, worst of all, not enough poll watchers are available to cover all the precincts. It’s time that changed. That’s why True the Vote is holding a summit April 27-28 in Houston, to mobilize and train a poll-watching army to deploy across the nation in November.
If you are sitting on the couch on Election Day watching it on TV, if you are at work instead of not using available leave, if you aren’t inside the polls on Election Day to prevent the mess of 2008 from repeating, you aren’t doing enough. If not 2012, when?
Sarah Palin would have been unafraid. She would have said game on.
Sen. McCain chose not to fight.
.
Did he cut a deal with Bambi?
John McCain was a whimp from the git go. He kept telling the American people that Obama was a good man, a man loyal to America, and a middle roader. All this, while Sean Hannity was exposing Obama’s idol, icon and full time mentor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, a Black Racist and hater of America!!! McCain was weak, still is!!!
Of course not.
Sarah Palin's not as interested in holding office as either her admirers or her detractors assume.
Really, if she were your Sarah, she'd be the nominee by now -- or at least a candidate -- but she isn't, so she's not.
In 08 we had two choices:
A crap or a turd sandwich.
I will go to my grave believing McCain was a shill for “The Divine One!”
So, of course John "Beltway" McCain would never raise an issue to protect our constitutional right to a free and fair election!
Just as controlled burns every couple of years would prevent the California wildfire conflagrations that keep occurring, letting Eric Holder's people burn their own neighborhoods to the ground every couple of years would prevent the huge, national riots we are in store for.
Plus, it would provide an opportunity for some target practice.
So let's not have an election at all because of the "possibility of domestic violence." I'd rather our system of government prevail, even at the cost of 50,000 dead.

Bump #7. McCain is a brainwashed Manchurian shill. IMHO. That time in the Hilton was not wasted.
Would those two states have made a difference ? Pathetic and I agree there would have been violence if the election was overturned.
I cannot understand why there are not at least 5 people from several different parties making sure there is no fraud and any fraud should be a felony and 20 years in prison if convicted. America deserves fair elections and voters should have IDs to prove they are who they say they are
I doubt it. McCain was just a weak old man who was lead around by others.
Palin: McCain Campaign Managers Wouldn't Let Us Investigate Obama's Past
That is why I cut him slack at the personal level, and utterly distrust him at the public level. Stockholm Syndrome by design and ‘adjustment’. I very much doubt I would have withstood it any better, most likely not as well. Nevertheless, the fact is that John McCain the military officer died in Vietnam. We got back a kind of revenant loose cannon and time bomb.
I’d like to get a look at the presumed luxury suite he lived in while the other POWs suffered in squalor. There is NO WAY that the son of the CINCPAC was treated the same way as an average downed pilot. That’s not how military leaders or politicians act towards one another. The whole thing stinks like last year’s fish.
365 vs. 173 — OH and PA would not have been sufficient to change the final result.
Like, um, wow. "She would have said game on" is certainly correct. Don't know what all that other snark is about.
There are multiple ways that fair and valid elections could be guaranteed. The simple truth is that whoever is calling the shots in the beltway has a deep seated fear of the electorate.
Voter registration and elections fraud are so well established in the democrat party that they openly joke about it. In 2004 precincts in Philadelphia had MORE than 100% turnout. Yet, no complaints or moves to invalidate the outcome were made. (just one example)
Spot on brother. Better that there be bloodshed in my era so that my children can live free and at peace.
These black leaders and liberal whites are nothing more than Terrorists who use the threat of violence to achieve their goals.
The only way to deal with terrorists is with overwhelming violence.
McCain is a limp wristed coward.
Probably led around by Obamanoids in disguise and that stupid old man did not know the difference.
