Police say they are still investigating a deadly burglary where the two intruders were killed early Sunday morning.
It happened around 1:55 a.m. Sunday at a home on Country Club Drive in Jacksonville. Police say according to the victims, as the three residents entered the house they were attacked by two people who were inside.
Police say Diego Everette and Maurice Skinner, both 33 years old and from Jacksonville, were killed.
They say the three people who live at the house, two who are Camp Lejeune Marines, were all treated and released from Onslow Memorial Hospital.

Department of Correction records show Everette had an extensive criminal record, dating back to 2005. He was convicted for various crimes including several larceny counts, forgery, and multiple DWIs,
Skinner served prison time for several assault inflicting serious injury convictions, the latest in 2009.
Two more Trayvons accounted for.
The marines are obviously racists and killed these sons of Obama for being black while in someone else house uninvited while they ain’t home.
The sons of Obama were likely looking for iced tea and skillets, because that’s what sons of Obama do.
Well, as a Jacksonville, FL resident, this story could've just as easily taken place here. Lord knows, we have no shortage of thugz reprezentin' da 904.
One thing which strikes me as unusual is the thugs attacked the home owners inside the house.
Now if I am a burglar and see a car drive up or noises outside, I would immediately leave by the back door but these two were willing to confront them. I suspect if it had been an old guy like me and a couple of women, they would have done so successfully.
It was just good luck they happened upon two well trained and physically fit Marines. Still it sounds like they put up a fight.

I have been seeing a lot of tv commercials for burglar alarms, burglar proof devices etc.
These ads usually start off with a homeowner, typically a woman with her little girl, opening the door and catching a burglar in the act.
In every single case and I do mean 100% of these ads, the criminals do not look like these two. They are always of a different hue.

That is a special kind of stupid.
Thing is, the odds are better than most places that in Jacksonville, NC, the house you burglarize will belong to a Marine.

After reading a few other stories from local news sources, it looks like these two weren’t the only ones in the house with the two Marines and one other individual came home at 0200. One of the Marines had “a visible injury” to his arm, supposedly from a shotgun.
Another intruder was recently shot and killed by a Marine in the area in an unrelated incident.
I think the breaking and entering biz is getting pretty dangerous in and around Camp Lejeune.
Kinda makes you wonder how many bullet holes are in each of the Sons of Obama. Though I suppose the correct answer is “enough”.

Interesting...used to live in that section of Jacksonville while in the 2nd Marine Division.
This was obviously another racist attack, more reason to repeal “Stand Your Ground” and outlaw the castle doctrine. /s

They were just trying to sell some cosmetics to the homeowners. When the homeowners didn't want to buy any they tried smashing the occupants heads on the concrete but got blown away. Oh, well.
