Unless hes being misquoted and theres no reason to believe he is based on his track record when it comes to the Governor, Ailes isnt even publicly hiding it anymore:
Roger Ailes says Sarah Palin had no chance to be President.
Ailes, on Sarah Palin: Anyone think she had a chance to be president? Says she, others are picked solely for ratings.
Its tough to conclude from these public assertions from Ailes that he has any respect for Governor Palin. From my vantage point, the Governor appeared to be alluding to Ailes and his news network at times in her interview with Levin yesterday.

>>>I wonder if being in New York City is the wrong place to be for a conservative network.
Fox never has been a “conservative” network. Ever. It’s always only been not as overtly liberal as the rest of them - which made it look conservative by comparison.
Don't forget their more recent hires of lesbian activist, Sally Kohn, and Jesse Jackson's daughter, Santita Jackson.
Now that Ailes has also apparently said that Newt Gingrich will never be on Fox News again, the network barely has a pulse.
Whatever his motivation (more like a Ferengi than anything else), she has a platform for her views, so that’s win-win.
Mr. Ailes, complete this sentence: Sarah Palin brings Fox News high ratings because ________________________________.
The problem with Foxney News is that its just not conservative. So after bashing Newt throughout the campaign and snarking Palin they probably wonder why Newt blasted them and Sarah is snarking back. We have watched CNN a couple of nights and they were more neutral on Newt than Fox. Ailes’ idea of a conservative is Krauthammer.
I haven’t watched Fox news in quite awhile. Too liberal for me.
Just DON'T turn it on and you won't have to watch it.
FNC seems to be getting more like the LSM. There are only 4 shows that we sometimes watch and we used to watch almost constantly when home.
For anyone needing a refresher course, THE UNDEFEATED is now free-streaming for Netflix viewers.
Good, good stuff.
That was clear when they tried to "take out" Newt early on in 2011 by trumping up and taking out of context his comments about the Paul Ryan budget. That was clearly a huge, coordinated effort between the GOP elites, FOX News and RINO radio hosts like Bill Bennett, done to try and cut the legs out from under Romney's #1 primary threat, Newt Gingrich.
Totally absurd. Didn't you notice the way the primary turned out? Palin most likely would've won it. She would have become the obvious choice for conservatives to coalesce around by February...having enough so-con bonafides for the Santorum people and enough pragmatism and populism for the Newt people. If Romney tried to nail her with attack ads, they probably would've backfired badly, because he would've looked even more obviously like a progressive leftist, them having just got done doing the same to Palin recently.
Ailes runs FNC
Rupert is hands off
Ailes has always been GOPE
TV worth watching has been reduced to THE FOOD NETWORK and THE SHOPPING CHANNEL!
>> “Seems Fox News is citing with the GOP establishment over the tea party and conservatives” <<
.
Fox is siding with the globalist cabal that owns them. Surprise? I hope not.
They hired Sarah to keep her out of the race
Yep, that is true. I agree with that. Ditto for the Today show hiring her for that one time.
