In case you haven't noticed, a TEA Party rebellion is on and Free Republic signed on years ago. There is no turning back. No more crap from the GOP-e!! They've screwed us for the last time!! Karl Rove and Mitt Romney, et al, loathe conservatism and loathe the tea party and took it upon themselves to use their money and connections to destroy nearly every one of our conservative tea party candidates while pushing their big government RINOS. That makes them the enemy. I will not reward that betrayal by giving them my support or my vote.

When you pull the lever for the president and vice president, you do so as a team. You know that, right? You could have written in someone else as President and Sarah’s name for VP, but you can’t just vote for the VP.
I “get it” perfectly. IF we elect Romney, what’s the use of all of the temper tantrums, feet stomping and claims that the GOP needs to be destroyed?

So do I, and so would I, and I felt that way in 1976, and Reagan didn't win the nomination, the RINO got it, and I (and many others) took our ball and went home and sat that November day, and we got the (now) 2nd worst President in American history. I will not repeat that mistake again. I will not take my ball home this time. I will not do it when we now have THE worst President in American history in the oval office.

I always enjoy reading your thoughtful posts. I am working to get conservative candidates elected in the House and Senate. Having known liberal Dems because I live in Illinois, I know that many of them would like to see conservatives dead. They hate us. For that reason, I will vote for anyone but Obama for president. I value the lives of my children and grandchildren more than anything in this world.

That is exactly correct about Joseph Smith. He was not only a flim-flam man, he was a dangerous person. He formed a “militia” while in Navoo and gave himself the rank of Lieutenant General when this was NEVER done in other states. Authorities realized his militia wasn’t for the defense of the State, but Smith’s interests.
He didn’t die a matyr like the Mormon church portrays. He violated First Ammendment Free Press rights by sanctioning the destruction of an anti-Mormon paper. He was jailed for that. Indeed he was killed by a mob, but in the process killed several with pistols that had been smuggled to him. He is not a “classic” matyr. He took life in the process of being matyred....not a true matyr.
Throughout the Mormon churches history, their “prophet” always has conveinent prohecies to fit the situation. Whereas, true Christianity has be unchanging even when it wasn’t popular. It is a bogus operation. Their missionaries are taught to lie about true Morman beliefs, and Romney learned that lesson well.
That is the apparent problem and perhaps the best thing to hope for is an open (brokered?) convention where there may be a chance to get a conservative candidate on the slate.
Ya well, I have no doubt that you and others see it that way. It's just another symptom of this fantasy you guys have jumped headlong into. Any political ideology, and that includes conservatism, that attempts to place itself between me and the Bill of Rights to act as sole arbiter and interpreter, is the definition of tyranny.
The nomination is not even set yet and Jeff is promoting the LDS inc candidate. Clearly, Jeff is doing his part to aid the White Horse prophecy of the lying peepstone sexual predator of married women who founded Jeff’s religion. If I am not mistaken, Jeff also believes himself to be a high priest int he order to which Jesus Christ is the ONLY living High Priest. ... Is that right Jeff, are you a melchizedek LDS inc high priest? Your loyalty to LDS inc regardless is showing, Jeff.
