When I was 12 years old, I used to play tennis at a certain public park in the Bronx. One day it got back to me that a black fellow at the courts, whose name I forget, said, "Selwyn doesn't like black people." This raised my eyebrows. You see, I had never really thought about the man one way or the other. And what occupied my mind were forehands, backhands, topspin, and volleys, not race. So the only thing I could figure was that I was probably in a funk one day and didn't hear and acknowledge a greeting he might have extended. Whatever the perceived slight, race was a factor. After all, imagine the reaction if he had been white. At worst, he might have thought, "Selwyn is a self-absorbed brat," which would have been closer to the truth. Or he might just have concluded that I was having a bad day (I was an aspiring player at the time but, lamentably, had a lot of bad days). Instead, he saw bad intentions where none existed.

My caring about “black grievance” is nil. They as a group are like the palistinian goons...if it isn’t one thing it is another. Who cares??? We all live in the most free country in the world. They are blessed as we all are. It is equal OPPORTUNITY...get off your butt and get to work to better you and yours. Stop griping incessantly. As I said...who cares?????

I say this to every one I argue with: “Get over Yourself.”
But mark my word, they NEVER will. And it’s sad, as it’s no way to go through life — perpetually angry and seeing yourself as a victim, therefore, wanting to victimize others. I have been on a couple of message boards and they really, really beleive that the White Man is evil, is out to get them, has wrought horrible suffering throughout the world, etc. They are TAUGHT this.
It’s no wonder a lot of them suffer constant hypertension and related health problems.
Some manage to escape the plantation, however. But even they must have to deal with the guilt of having being successful.

I agree with most of your statements but I do have a problem with the “Who Cares?” aspect of your point of view.
My argument is we have to care because the continued existance of this underclass is merely a tool for power mad members of the Liberal “Overclass” who uses these poor slobs for their own purpose, mainly getting their own political “Hacks” elected. The worst part of this is is that race hustlers like Jackson and Sharpton continually use these folks as tools to further their own ambitions as well.
Only by somehow resolving the issue, hopefully permanently, of reducing this underclass through programs that actually work can we elimate this nonsense as a political force within the country and send Jackson and Sharpton on their merry way.
I would not consider him a black American. He did not have a typical life. Most black Americans I know have never been out of their neighborhoods much less lived in a foreign country.

If the author is right, then there is no real solution except a return to a separation of the races.

A cold attitude in this day of sensitivity, compassion and kindness.

Here is a program proposal- The parasitic slobs take responsibility for themselves.
And those that do “think for themselves” or reason as you have said, have to be very careful not to be viewed as “sell-outs”.
This is usually a matter of economics. Black neighborhoods are typically poor. Once blacks start moving up they tend to move away from the all black areas. Most can't afford to move, they are stuck whether they like it or not.
One thing for certain. What we are doing now isn't working. In addition with the current Marxist agenda, PC attitude and path we are on things will only get worse, much worse.
