Va. school teacher thinks Republicans are stupid By Kalyn McMackin - The Daily Caller 12:05 AM 04/05/2012
A Virginia elementary school teacher told her students that Republicans are stupid and they dont care about anyone but wealthy people and businesses.
Kristin Martin said this to her 6th grade class as Republican voters were filing into the halls of Powell Elementary School in Fairfax County to vote on Super Tuesday.
It all started when this disabled kid came in and named all the Republicans candidates for Super Tuesday, one student told The Daily Caller. She [Martin] said to him, I dont like them, I think that they are stupid.
Martins statements were brainwashing students, according to one mother, who said she is a Republican and asked not to be named to protect her daughter from retaliation.
I felt like the teacher was brainwashing naive, young children to believe people like me, my family and, to a certain extent, my daughter, were stupid, she told TheDC via email.
The mother came forward with her daughters story after TheDC first reported on another Fairfax County teacher who instructed his students to conduct opposition research on Republican candidates for president. (RELATED: Va. middle-schoolers assigned opposition research on GOP candidates)
Additionally, her daughter relayed that Martin told the classroom that she had voted for Obama and that Democrats do more for the community and schools.

Communists have infiltrated our media and our educational system. We haven’t figured out how to fight back.
She’s only parroting what she’s heard since childhood, and was never forced to think critically about.
As far as “caring about the wealthy”,
I suppose, in effect, this is true.
Folks who are diligent and seek to better themselves do end up being wealthier than average,
and conservatives tend to support anti-looting policies that would rob these people of their earnings.
usually when I see this attitude with teachers my response is....the better your local “capitalism” is thriving...the more secure your job is.
However...this is Fairfax County.
If memory serves me correctly, the “ruling elite” of DC flock to areas such as this and get their kids into these very well funded Fairfax County schools.
So - this particular school may thrive more on political influence rather than the typical funding issues you see elsewhere.
Firing is not enough....she is an enemy
“...the old school way...”
Thank you. It is a very tough job. It is even more difficult when colleagues are uninformed, irrational and emotionally unstable.
I have tremendous respect and admiration for many of my math and science teachers.
Times have changed. I know university professors that should not be allowed to clean out a garage.
Government from the faculty lounge is a disaster.
I makes me sad when I realize that our military are risking their lives and limbs so that communist moron b*tches like Kristin Martin can live free and spout her left-wing hateful lies to young children.
This is the money quote. The rest is SOP. Government schools have been pushing left wing ideology since at least the early 1970's.
But here we have a mother whose taxes pay the teacher's salary afraid to criticize clearly inappropriate behavior on the part of the teacher out of fear. The government teacher is the one with the power, not the citizen. Fear is one of Alinsky's tools. This isn't new with Barry's America, but it is heightened.
The Government School Collective can be correctly characterized as the Bus Ministry of the State Church of Collectivist Secular Humanism.
As a driver for the Bus Ministry of the State Church of Collectivist Secular Humanism, this person is sold out to the ideology of those that sign her paycheck.
The public school is BY FAR, the largest, most expensive, most subversive, and most destructive entitlement program in the country.
It is silly to imagine that you can fix the public schools, because the very concept itself is communist.
Any child that comes out of the government school collective with their moral compass and common sense intact does so in spite of the government school indoctrination, not because of it.
If you want to win the culture war, have lots of children (see my tagline) and homeschool them or form your own school cooperative with your church or synagogue and like-minded friends and relatives.
Nobody loves your children more than you do.
Nobody can teach your children like you can.
Your children would love nothing better than to be taught by you, if you start doing so before they are corrupted by the government school collective.
It is hypocritical for you to submit your children to an authority with whom you fundamentally disagree. And your children will know it.
If you have children, make whatever sacrifices you must to get them out of the public schools.
DO NOT FEED THE BEAST!
Especially not with your own children.
So do I! But, what’s her reason for thinking that?....
She has the First Amendment right to express her opinions, no matter how stupid they may be. But not to indoctrinate children.
I’ll play devil’s advocate here and agree with her. RINOs ARE stupid. And that’s because they make up one wing of the BOHICA Party. Conservatives, on the other hand, are quite intelligent as has been reported by several sources.
This is so cool, b/c as it happens, Republicans think schoolteachers are stupid! (And guess who is more right?)
Some Republicans ARE stupid. Too many, in fact.
That’s why the party has ‘leadership’ like Mitch McConnell and John Boehner, and why the party may well nominate a liberal as our candidate for President.
The difference between conservatives and Republicans has never been more stark and more clear.
Any teacher that talks politics (Democrat or Republican) or religion should be fired.
Schools should not be for political or religious indoctrination.
[ Humans driven by envy, vote for evil. ]
Find me a Democrat and I will show you someone who is intensely envious of their better off neighbor.
