Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s niece is criticizing the Rev. Al Sharpton and the Rev. Jesse Jackson for politicizing the Trayvon Martin shooting and leveraging racial tensions to rile up Americans.
Conservative activist Dr. Alveda King, now the director of African-American outreach at Priests for Life and the founder of King For America, said she hopes Sharpton and Jackson stop “stirring up the people without positive solutions” in Sanford, Fla., and elsewhere in the U.S.

I believe that if Dr. King could see what is going on today, he would be shocked, very sad about it.
It is nice to see that a member of his family seems to share that view.
King himself would have put an end to a nation holiday honoring him.

Among other crimes, she is pro-life. And, she was a participant in the Glenn Beck rally at the Lincoln Memorial. According to the liberals, the Glenn Beck event beschmirched the memory of Martin Luther King, and here we saw his niece in that rally!! How shameful it was in the liberals view!

I think the only reason she has not been run out on a rail by the leftists is due to her relationship with MLK, both by blood and her personal interaction with him when he was alive. That real relationship gives her tremendous credibility when she says "Dr. ML King would/wouldn't ...".
She has used the protection her name affords her for good and with great success. She deserves our continuous prayers for support.
Dr. King, I would love to see that, too, but you know the chances of that happening is the same as Mitt ROMNEY quitting the GOP RACe and endorse Rick Santorium and Sarah Palin as VP.
