Didn’t Bobby Rush belong to the Black Panther Party when he was first elected?

“...then asked the Sergeant at Arms to enforce the House prohibition on hats in the chamber.”

Proving once again that idiots who wear hoodies are usually involved with an enforcement authority.

Boy, who saw this coming.
BTW Bobby Rush was defense minister for the original Black Panther Party in Illinois back in the late 1960’s...no doubt an avowed Marxist...and his district has the largets majority of minority people of any district being 65% minority...he’s pandering to his “base”

Rush said: "Just because someone wears a hoodie does not make them a hoodlum."

I agree, Rush is already a hoodlum the hoodie was nothing but advertising.

*** “Racial profiling has to stop,” Rush said. ***

I’d say the opposite is true. If 90% of crime is attributable to a certain race, then that race bears closer scrutiny. It’s called using your brain, something Mr. Rush seems to have difficulty doing.

“Just because someone wears a hoodie does not make them a hoodlum.” Just because he is on the floor of the House doesn’t mean he ISN’T a hoodlum.

The action points out the unarguable fact that there is a reason for racial profiling. Keeping a close eye on black men in hoodies prevents crime and societal disruption

Read this about this fool.. life, education, and political activism After dropping out of high school, Rush joined the U.S. Army in 1963 but went AWOL and received an honorable discharge in 1968.[2] Throughout the 1960s Rush was involved in the civil-rights movement. He worked in civil-disobedience campaigns in the South, and co-founded the Illinois chapter of the Black Panthers in 1968 and was made its "defense minister". His son, Huey, was named after Panther leader Huey Newton. "We were reacting to police brutality, to the historical relationship between African-Americans and recalcitrant racist whites," Rush later told People magazine. "We needed to arm ourselves." Rush was present when fellow Black Panther Fred Hampton was killed in a police raid and later made a official statement that the police, referred only to as "pigs" by Rush, had murdered Hampton. Rush's own apartment was raided in December 1969 where police discovered an unregistered pistol, rifle, shotgun and pistol ammunition, training manuals on explosives and booby traps, a small amount of marijuana and an assortment of communist literature.[3] Earlier that same year Rush stated the philosophy his membership in the Black Panthers saying, "Black people have been on the defensive for all these years. The trend now is not to wait to be attacked. We advocate offensive violence against the power structure."[

"Just because someone wears a hoodie does not make them a hoodlum."

So what happens when the fashion is to wear Ski Masks and or Nylon Stockings on your head?

Funny though that if you want to get a permit to carry a concealed weapon your automatically a "Hoodlum" as far as the democRats are concerned.

Tell Rep Rush if the black crime rate was the same as the Japanese crime rate, there would be no crime racial profiling. Muslim clothes get them profiled for the same reason.
