I had no idea he was on the transplant list.
lol. I doubt he waits like the rest of us. Plus thank God he has good health insurance. He has used it quite a bit just on his heart. Poor guy had 5 heart attacks, a pace maker put in and a heart transplant. I think we can say he is the “million dollar man”. Thank goodness he is in 2012 and not 1950 or I don’t think he would be with us today.

Our prayers and thanks go to Vice president Cheney and his family. Dick Cheney was my first choice for President in 1988, what could have been.

I hadn’t gotten to hit the abuse button for a week or so now and I was missing it. Thank you for my opportunity.

My mother was told she was too old for a transplant. She died at 68 years of age.

Ah, yes. That day when Mister Gore
STOLE a bust of
Honest Abraham Lincoln, illuminating the ironical (but accurate) description of Gore's absolute lack of character.

I’d like to thank the Liberals for their display of civility at this time... oh wait... I can’t. There isn’t a whole lot from them...

Perhaps your parents are (or some day will be, maybe not-if they're already dead) in their early 70s.
Let me know when that day comes so I can tell you that they've had a good run, time to go, and, BTW, your kid's an a**hole.
To: redreno
Too old, if you ask me. He already has had a good run. Time to move on. Nobody asked you.
To: redreno
I am sorry for your loss. Your mother had her reasons for her decision and they have no connection to Mr. Cheney. Your mother may have had other things going on that she had not shared with you and that may have affected her decision.
It is hard, extremely hard, to lose a parent.

Bush (43) was a good man; Cheney would have been better as President however.
Cheney would have exposed 0bama for what he is and we wouldn’t have an avowed enemy of the United States in our White House.
Cheney would have fought the bastards. As VP he was over ridden.

Finally a candidate for a brokered convention all can support. No vetting required! He’s only three years older than Newt. Only the bad heart kept him from running in the past. His congestive failure will be long gone by Tampa and his energy level should be good. And he can answer every question about his health with comments about Obamacare.

Heart surgery-heart transplant is apples and oranges. I happen to agree that Dick Cheney is too old for a transplant. He will have to be on anti-rejection medications for the rest of his life’ I know that people over 65 almost never become a candidate for transplants, and that is NOT due to Obamacare, it's because they do not do well.
I love Dick Cheney and wish him well.

My mother was told she was too old for a transplant. She died at 68 years of age. You'd have saved yourself a lot of unnecessary pummeling by stating that at the outset.
You have my sincere condolences, as my father was also only 68, and my little brother (sole sibling) only 44.
Your original comment was still callous, but at least, now, understandable.
