NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Gas prices are once again dominating the national debate.
But despite rhetoric, high gas prices aren't hurting as much as they used to.

Try telling that to the millions of working Americans who have fill up once per week. Try telling that to the cashier at the grocery store as food prices necesarily skyrocket. And, try telling that to the summer workers at resorts who are let go in mid-July because there aren't enought tourists.

Bookman, I have more respect for your trade .. the more honorable by far !
It’s amazing how these “journalists” can attempt to say public opinion to support Obama without any recourse.

‘You’re working for gas now’
The people of Camden, Ala., pay a bigger chunk of their income for fuel than anyone else in the country - meaning tough choices for the ever thinner family budget.

F***ing hypocritical sycophant.
This writer is a lunatic. It’s not just the gas to fill up the car that cost more, everything that goes from point A to point B cost more.
Define infuriating arrogance:
Having the gall to lecture someone on their hardships when one doesn’t have to deal with said hardships. Required for careers in politics and the MSM.
Income, Poverty and Health Insurance Coverage in the United States: 2010Sept. 13, 2011
The U.S. Census Bureau announced today that in 2010, median household income declined
Real median household income in the United States in 2010 was $49,445, a 2.3 percent decline from the 2009 median.
Since 2007, the year before the most recent recession, real median household income has declined 6.4 percent and is 7.1 percent below the median household income peak that occurred prior to the 2001 recession in 1999.
The MSM is running with the high gas price story. They don’t run with stories that help Republicans.
This story will help democrats before the election.
Before the election Obama will bring down gas prices and the MSM will worship him lie a hero. Don’t fall for this - talk about food prices - much harder to artificially manipulate.
Exactly right. Another in-kind donation to Obama and company.
