I expect him to win but not by a huge margin.

Big deal. He has won another state that will go for Obama. Now Santorum just needs to go to Louisiana and win there. Santorum will win Louisiana 100 percent.

Face it.

It's two parties trapped in one organization. It cannot go on like this.

The Fat Lady sings. This is now all over except for the curtain close. A divided anti-Romney vote has brought us this catastrophe and Le Resistance to Romney is now on the ropes.

Eric Ericksson of Red States says on CNN, that Romney has now wrapped it.

time for Newt & Rick to exit so we can focus on the task at hand. The sooner the better.

Illinois will never go Republican anyway so this primary is meaningless. Just another state that went RINO but will go full Marxist in November

You beat me by a few minutes. I was already in the process of posting mine and saw yours after I posted it. This is worse than I thought.

I’m here working, and we don’t get the early call.

Turnout in the city was 15%, and 50% of the most liberal counties are in. Downstate has less total numbers, but has BARELY reported yet.

Unless early voting was 50%+ for Mitt, I don’t get this early call.

Your little Ricky since Florida would not unite.

This is your doing. I kept warning you but no one would

trust me. I knew the party was primping up a weak Rick so

people would go Romney's way. Rick should go away, he help this to happen. Unreal and sickening.

Enough with the GOP RINO establishment. Time for a third party conservative candidate.

I voted for Newt. A protest vote, I know.

I had said that I wouldn't vote for Romney in the general election should he become the GOP nominee, but I'm not sure any more. I'm supremely disappointed that Newt didn't do better...he was my first choice; Santorum was my second choice.

I just don't think I have it in me to sit out this election and simply give the win to Obama by not voting. This is a decision everybody must make; I think I'm going to end up voting for Romney if he does indeed win the GOP primary. The only thing that might make this decision a little easier to swallow is if he picks a strong VP choice.

For Romney 47%
For Anyone But Romney 53%

IN a state that will vote for Obama as noted above...

But with the winner-take-all states coming, how do we keep Romney below the nominating threshhold?

I dreaded reading the comments on this thread.

That dread was well founded.

Blame, whining, distress, throwing up, giving up.

No matter who ends up winning, we can beat Obama if we don’t kill ourselves first.
