IMHO Obama’s ratings go down the more he appears on tv. People do not like him and Obama says the most ridiculous things. Algae is a great example.
Remember when the more he promoted Obamacare the more it sunk in the polls?

Impossible, Romney doesn’t connect with anybody and Obama is the master connector.

And when, in history, has a challenger to an incumbent LOST ground from the numbers in the spring to those in the fall?
I don’t have the facts close at hand, but my (perhaps faulty) memory is that the challenger always rises a few points from the early numbers.
I’m sure all the other candidates are passing Obama as well.

What continues to bother me is that 44% of Americans want socialism and approve of the crap this guy is doing. Thta is what scares me. 44% of Americans want to be sheep. Want to be controlled. Told what too do. All life's choices made by the government for them. 44%!! Unbelievable. Nearly 1 of every 2 people. Unbelievable.

Looks like the “mean conservative men want to take birth control away from women” narrative hasn’t worked the way they wanted it to. Fluke you, BHO!

I think everybody is banking too much on these gas prices. The economy has been portrayed as improving, and there is the Iran problem. Both of those are probably causing speculation to raise prices. Obama and company will probably still the Iran problem, and more bad news about the economy will deflate the speculation again especially after we go through peak use in June or so. Obama just needs to throttle the economic news, downbeat to drive the price down, upbeat to drive it up. He doesn't want the economic news to be so bad as to hurt his election chances but enough reality must bleed through to keep gas down. He'll win. Most of the wealthy support him, and they can control a lot of this optic stuff.

In addition to gas prices and phony unemployment numbers, perhaps people are waking up to his dictatorial ways when he said that we’ll send our troops to war at world request and “Eff You” Congress.

I thought Obama was a slam dunk? Thats what the narrative was yesterday, tucked into the jobs report. Even a RINO squish (who draws ZERO enthusiasm) can beat Obama by 5 points.
ANd Obama hasn't even fired a shot at Romney, and with the Completely Progressive Record of Romney, he has all the ammunition in the world to utterly destroy him.
By the time Obama and his minions in the MSM get through with Romney, if he is the nominee, the numbers will be worse than reversed.
Romney will lose in a landslide.

The rest of the report:
Santorum up 1 over Obama (no number given for Newt).
Obama fallen back to -19 on the “Strongly Approve/Disapprove scale.”
Interesting that Boehner beats Pelosi and McConnell beats Harry Reid on the approval ratings, though nobody does well (then again, Congress has pretty much perpetually low approval ratings over the past 50 years).

I hope it has nothing to do with the fact that the anagram for "Rasmussen" is "earns sums". Nope. It's more that Rasmussen is about "Mans Ruses", and that Scott is more apt to be a "Mass Nurse".
And if you disagree with me, then, "Ass me Runs".

The economy and gas prices add up to a GOP win this year no matter who the nominee is......the voters who supported Obama four years ago are suffering and they are disillusioned while conservative voters can’t wait to line up and vote......Romney will win even if I don’t vote for him, which I may opt to do.
Obmamacare should not be kept in place as Romneycare, devolved to the states.
That’s Romney’s plan for us in a nutshell.

I am happy for all of you republicons... you can win with romney... but you will do it without me and those like me. **** "I like me some grits" romney! He is just a cracker version of obama.
They can't win with Romney LLS.
Romney isn't even the nominee yet and Obama hasn't even started in on Romney, because they really want to go up against him.
With his completely Progressive Liberal record, he is the perfect candidate from a Democrat perspective.
Once Obama starts using Romney's words and record against him watch these numbers reverse and get much worse.
Republicans pre-maturely taking this poll, this early in the process, as a sign that Romney can win this thing will be crying in their Beer and pulling their hair out if Romney is the nominee.
He is going to be utterly destrolyed by Obama and the MSM.
To: RetiredArmy
I see the 44% this way. Many are products of the dumbed down education system and they get their news from the networks who are in the tank for Obama. The only way you can get these people to see the light is if they are not already dug in on the other side and do not view the govt. as their big safety net. We are dealing with an overwhelming task as we are not preventing the indocrination at a young age and we are allowing radicals to infiltrate our media, govt. and schools. Political correctness is the vehicle.

Let me state once, this wish:
If. IF. If Romney succeeds through his Machiavellian, Alinsky-like negative campaign of corruption and attack, in stealing the GOP nomination.
I only hope, that unlike John McCain he continues to be so ruthless, in the race against Obama.
McCain presented, as exhibit A for what NOT to do in this regard.
Whoever our candidate ends up being, every single resource in the Republican Party, needs to be focused when the day comes, on defeating Obama.
To: nhwingut
that’s because the liberal elite are stupid. What does it matter if people are getting hired if the people that need work are still unemployed. I think he needs 10 million new jobs by the end of the year to move that confidence number in him up.
