Presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich on Friday called on Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta to resign, rebuking him for telling a congressional panel that the U.S. would “seek international permission” before intervening in the ongoing bloodshed in Syria.
“I have been told that the secretary of defense has suggested that international agreements override the Congress,” Gingrich told supporters in Gulfport, Mississippi. “If he believes that, he should resign tonight.”
Responding to a statement that the U.S. was placing military resolutions of the United Nations, NATO and the Arab League ahead of those made by Congress, Panetta told the Senate Armed Services Committee on Wednesday: "You know, our goal would be to seek international permission.

We need a debate on foreign policy, the UN and what role they (don't) play in America's interest. As for Panetta...he should have been gone a long time ago.

Anyone else but Newt will take us completely into the Globalist Agenda.......those at the helm of that are simply playing this nation until they are set...and also securing their own revenues for when they push the entire world finacial systems into free fall. To the rescue will be a One World finacial system prepared to step in and countries will welcome it for the mess things will be in.
I believe fully Newt knows what’s happening and why he’s going to play hardball in Washington when he gets there....he knows it’s critical to act fast and hard and spare nothing to secure this country against what’s coming.
Neither Santorum nor Romney would throw their career on the line ...Romney’s vested Internationally and secure no matter which way things go....and Santorum just doesn’t have broad knowledge of what’s going on let alone the solutions or ability to make quick judgements...his learning curve would be gigantic in Washington despite his years in the Senate...he won’t be able to move congress as he has zip zero leverage.
Newt’s the only hope....and I pray to God he will grant Newt this Presidency....otherwise we have passed the point of no return.
Corruption is at every level both here and at the UN....including the International Arena....it’s all to crash the world financial systems as much of what is needed to implement a Universal Monetary System is fast getting in place.....but they have to put it all in free fall first...without completely crashing it atogether...and also position the people to accept it for the instability and fears it will generate....a Universal Monetary Sytem will calm the people then.
This is why there’s so much revenue moving electronically between nation banks, World Bank, etc. and all those “help” organizations worldwide which barely put a dent in the actual problems they tout they’re fixing...they aren’t and have no intentions of doing. Greece is no surprise whatso ever despite the volumes of monies moved around....they gamed Greece and Greece gamed them as well as we see in the most recent news...and they knew this would happen.
And so ...Newt’s the only one who sees what’s going on...and has the will and the ability to shore up our nation...and wants to. The other two are in it for themselves....and either way they will survive very well...Newt’s out there ‘for the Glory of this nation’ so he can give it back to God Almighty!
Bravo.Impeach Obama. Throw the bums out!
Newt should have 400 delegates right now. America is dumber than a box of rocks. This man needs to be President.

Could his decision have been influenced by his recent memories of the battles of WWII? He was commander in Europe during the D-Day invasion. The loss of life there was beyond belief.
Uh, how does this situation with Panetta remind you of that, “the Hungarian Revolt/Revolution that took place in 1956”?

If "Obama" and his cabal of handlers, enablers and "fixers" can get him to, and keep him where he is, knowing that he's constitutionally ineligible to begin with, then why should anyone be surprised by any unconstitutional crap these scumbags are willing to pull? They're not even bothering to hide it; they flaunt it even.

Gingrich is the only candidate who has even mentioned Agenda 21 (which he is opposed to, of course, and from which he promises to remove US cooperation).
Panetta was confirmed 100-0 for Secretary of Defense by the Senate.
They, including ALL the Republicans, were typically clueless about his communist connections. Either that or they didn’t care.
The three articles you cited by Trevor Loudon document those connections. Loudon’s Obama files do the same for Obama, and should be required reading for all of us, but especially our elected representatives.
How can the Secretary of Defense NOT know the US Constitution?
It’s the Congress which allow or not an act of war, not the UN!
Obama and Panetta should be impeached NOW, for not following the Law of the Land.
