The furor over Rush Limbaughs controversial comments directed at Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke has lead to advertisers dropping his eponymous radio program. 12 advertisers, including Sleep Number, The Sleep Train, Quicken Loans, Legal Zoom, Citrix, Carbonite, ProFlowers, AOL, Bonobos, Sears, and Allstate Insurance have pulled ads from the program, and/or distanced themselves from the show, either permanently or temporarily, ThinkProgresss Adam Peck reports.
Allstates advertising purchase strategy has not included the Rush Limbaugh Show, the company wrote in a statement on their Facebook page. Earlier today, we responded to inquiries about our advertising relationship with the show by stating we did not advertise on or sponsor it. As radio listeners notified us that they were hearing Allstate ads during the show this afternoon, we contacted the vendor that arranges for our advertising placements and discovered that an error had been made and advertising time had mistakenly been purchased for the show.

Allstate? Really?
And here I thought Pablo Serrano was a Pubbie!
RINO
That’s because they don’t. We’re getting stories about potential sponsors that are quitting. It’s the same thing as calling up merchants and telling them you won’t buy, when you weren’t buying anyway.
It’s very nice of them to make themselves targets for the backlash.
Thanks.
Regards
The idea is not about an apology, it is about silencing all opposition to their Totalitarian ideology:
“Correct. Breitbart is gone, Rush is the next target.”
And how about Pat Buchanan and Judge Napolitano?
They did pull out. They are the same company as Pro Flowers.
Will be terminating Allstate policy tomorrow, but I did send them an email to see what they would say.
Let them squirm a bit.
I cut off Sears [after over 40 years of being a main line customer] when a women manager of a Sears yard and tool store refused to call me when my order came in “She said, we don’t call the customer, the customer must call us.”
Now I’m starting to shop for a new Auto Insurance, after nearly 52 years with Allstate.
As I see it, Sears does not like its customers!
Will be terminating Allstate policy tomorrow, but I did send them an email to see what they would say.
Let them squirm a bit.
Got their quote for all my needs to day.. Darn.. they where a tad bit cheaper too.
Not enough for me to overlook the current goings on though. I will try to get my current insurer to match it though ;)
I’ll also be terminating my Allstate car insurance. Will call them tomorrow.
They defended Bill Clinton when he was accused of assault, sexual harassment, and coercing witnesses. And Bill Maher? And are now angry about Rush?
Okey dokey. Lol.
In that case, we should be exercising our 2nd Amendment Feredom...
haha
I believe that is Rush’s own personal business!
if you need a replacement auto insurance policy I would suggest USAA. Our family has had coverage with them to almost 40 years. USAA is open to everyone these days, not just military officers.
It's almost like asking people to describe the color of the ocean.
Rush has said he isn't endorsing anyone in the Primaries.
People hear what they want to hear.
The only Republican Nominee Rush is against is Paul. The rest of this he said, she said stuff about who Rush supports is based on perception, not fact.
Rush’s demographics are very specific.
What they are saying is - their marketing departments were wrong when they chose his show.
That’s funny, I already called them.
My customers haven't had that problem, and I am in no way associated with Allstate; Just have to know how to deal with them.
