NEW YORK (AP) - A flower company is the 7th advertiser in recent days to say it is pulling ads from conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh's radio program. ProFlowers says on its Facebook page that it has suspended advertising on Limbaugh's program because his comments about Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke "went beyond political discourse to a personal attack and do not reflect our values as a company."

"Sluts" may or may not be promiscuous, but "Nymphomaniacs" definitely are. (It's a form of mental illness and reguires medical attention).
Rush knows that, because he alluded to it on his March 01, 2012 radio show, to wit:
RUSH: "... This is a matter of personal choice. It's an elective activity, or is it? Maybe they're sex addicts. I mean this is the kind of stuff, we're talking sex addict frequency here. ...."
[NOTE: The above hot links are mine :)]

In fact, on his show the day before, he specifically "took back" the word, "slut", and used a slang word to more accurately describe a "promiscuous" woman. :) To wit:
2/29/2012:
Butt Sisters are Safe from Newt and Rick
RUSH: "....Okay, so she's not a slut. She's "round heeled." -- I take it back. ..."

I don’t take it back...she’s a slut! Or at least she claims to be having sex with men but I have my doubts since everything else is a lie.
My message would be, “Rush was right! Here is the truth about Sandra Slut Fluke!”
“Rush didnt do talk until 88.”
Heard him on KFBK, Sacramento prior to “88
He was moved to KFBK in ‘88.
About the time you got an Apple II, we got a PC Junior.
For fans of conservative talk radio, Southern California had slim pickin's in those days. Ray Briem had a show during the graveyard shift, but I was asleep, along with most everyone else, during his broadcast. Nonetheless, he had some interesting characters call in, such as Moscow Mary, a hardline Stalinist who was always urging listeners to read books by George Seldes, the leftist muckraker of the 1940's, as well as Lefty Louie, Lefty Louise, and The Documentation Person, or Doc, another left/liberal. Some of these would show up on George Putnam's show, which ran from noon to two on KIEV, at 870 kcs. And there was the zany Wally George, who had a TV show on KDOC, which broadcast out of Anaheim.
However, daytime talk radio in Southern California during the 1980's was dominated by Michael Jackson, a flaming liberal on KABC at 790 kcs. When Rush came on opposite his spot in 1989, Jackson faded like a neon tan. Last I heard, he was with Air America, or something like that.
Ah cain't fahnd this here wohd in mah Wibsters...
We are falling into the devil's [DemocRAT] snare... we have allowed the issues to shift towards their favor while truncating discussion of the economy... and Marxism...
Two points: 1/ Now that blood is in the water, the Marxist sharks are likely to try to do in Rush permanently. 2/ we have an unknown 'agent' in the WH trying everything his party will support to destroy this country.
On this latter point, we would do well to focus the Fluke [sp?] issue on the Democraps constantly expanding the federal umbrella with the only proposed cuts being in our national defense: military, weaponry, intel, strategic oil reserves, etc., etc.
One issue worth mentioning is the affair of Ms. Karen Handel, former VP of the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Infanticide... Here we see the true power structure in this country. The full power of the Marxist oligarchy that runs this country came down on Ms. Handel. The result: Susan G. Komen now does NOT represent women with breast cancer; they represent public funding of abortion.
In this tawdry affair we see a glimpse of the Marxist tyranny that actually runs this country. AND, I doubt this coming election will change anything.
Yep, he joined the Navy at 17. By then his (and my) older sister was married with children. My mother started young and quit late. : )

MAYO CLINIC

Compulsive sexual behavior sometimes called hypersexuality, hypersexual disorder, nymphomania or sexual addiction -- is an obsession with sexual thoughts, feelings or behaviors that affects your health, job, relationships or other parts of your life.
Compulsive sexual behavior may involve a normally enjoyable sexual experience that becomes an obsession. Or compulsive sexual behavior may involve fantasies or activities outside the bounds of culturally, legally or morally accepted sexual behavior.
No matter what it's called or the exact nature of the behavior, untreated compulsive sexual behavior can damage your self-esteem, relationships, career and other people. But with treatment and self-help, you can manage compulsive sexual behavior and keep your urges in check.
When to see a doctor Get help if you feel like you've lost control of your sexual behavior, especially if your behavior causes problems for you or for other people. Compulsive sexual behavior tends to become more intense and difficult to control over time, so get help when you first recognize there may be a problem. Efforts to use sheer willpower to resist sexual compulsions may not succeed because the urges can be so powerful.
It's unclear what causes compulsive sexual behavior. Causes may include:
An imbalance of natural brain chemicals. High levels of certain chemicals in your brain (neurotransmitters) such as serotonin, dopamine and norepinephrine may be related to compulsive sexual behavior. These brain chemicals also help regulate your mood.
Sex hormone levels. Androgens are sex hormones that occur naturally in both men and women. Although androgens also have a vital role in sexual desire, it's not clear exactly how they're related to compulsive sexual behavior.
Conditions that affect the brain. Certain diseases or health problems may cause damage to parts of the brain that affect sexual behavior. Multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, Huntington's disease and dementia have all been associated with compulsive sexual behavior. In addition, treatment of Parkinson's disease with some dopamine agonist medications may cause compulsive sexual behavior.
Changes in brain pathways. Compulsive sexual behavior is an addiction that over time might actually cause changes in the brain's neural circuits the network of nerves that allows brain cells to communicate with one another. These changes may cause pleasant reactions by engaging in sexual behavior and unpleasant reactions when the behavior is stopped.
PREPARING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
"Note any other mental health issues you have, whether diagnosed or not, such as depression or anxiety. Other mental health conditions often occur along with compulsive sexual behavior and may need treatment as well.
[SNIP]
"......Currently, mental health providers use the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) a manual published by the American Psychiatric Association as a guide for diagnosing mental health problems.
Because compulsive sexual behavior doesn't have its own diagnostic category in the DSM, it's often diagnosed as a subcategory of another mental health condition. In many cases, compulsive sexual behaviors are generally accepted sexual activities taken to an extreme. These may be diagnosed as a subcategory of another mental health condition, such as an impulse control disorder or an obsessive-compulsive disorder.
[SNIP]
Treatment for compulsive sexual behavior typically involves psychotherapy, medications and self-help groups. A primary goal of treatment is to help you manage urges and reduce excessive behaviors while maintaining healthy sexual activities.
People with other addictions, severe mental health problems or who pose a danger to others may benefit from inpatient treatment initially. Whether inpatient or outpatient, treatment may be intense at first. And you may find periodic, ongoing treatment through the years helpful to prevent relapses. ...."
Psychotherapy
Several forms of psychotherapy may help compulsive sexual behavior. These include: [snip]
Medications
Certain medications may be helpful because they act on brain chemicals linked to obsessive thoughts and behaviors and reduce the chemical "rewards" these behaviors provide when you act on them. ...."
Self-help groups
Self-help and support groups can be effective for sexual addiction and dealing with all of the issues it can cause. Most are modeled after the 12-step program of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). In addition to helping you make changes directly, these groups can help you learn about your disorder, find support and understanding in your condition, and identify additional treatment options and resources. These groups may be Internet based or have local in-person meetings or both. If you're interested in a self-help group, look for one with a good reputation and that makes you feel comfortable. Such groups don't suit everyone's taste, so ask your mental health provider about alternatives.

I agree, but as Rush has always said, "Pioneers take all the arrows", and he deliberately used a two-day old article on CNS News as the vehicle to spend three days ginning this up and more fully blowing the cover of B.O.'s attempt to change the subject from an issue about "religious freedom / freedom of conscience" into using air-head women to help him make "contraception" the WHOLE PLATFORM and PLANK of his re-election campaign.
Knowing full well what it takes to get the 'RAT'S panties in a wad, for three days in a row he used "absurdity to illustrate absurdity" to get a huge rise out of them: RUSH: "Yeah, I know. Snerdley, I told you, "This is gonna be bigger than the phony soldiers," and he didn't think it was. I said, "Oh, it's gonna be ten times bigger. This is gonna be ten times bigger than the phony soldiers, ten times bigger than the Michael J. Fox thing, 'cause the Democrats are desperate."
Absurdity needs to be exposed and laughed at, and it will be by those with the courage to be willing to sacrifice themselves in the process, if need be.
IN MEMORY OF ANDREW BREITBART..another happy warrior pioneer with the courage to "take the arrows" of the deranged Left. bttt
I am suspicious here also... I am not a conspiracy nut... but I would like to hear what the autopsy says.
There are members of the Obama Regeme and members of congress whose have used intimidation tactics against the companies who advertise on Limbaugh’s show.
Thus, Congress has acted to restrict Rush’s First Amendment rights.
The Victims here are Rush Limbaugh, the First Amendment, the Pope, and all Real Americans.
OK then let us see your cites. But understand the First Amendment does not guarantee you a radio show. The first Amendment basically (As far as free speech goes) means the government can't stop you from speaking. Not speaking on the radio but just speaking your mind.
Rush can speak his mind whenever he likes and he is doing so.
BUT there can be consequences of doing such. Rush is suffering those consequences now. Other people who don't agree with him can stop advertising on his show and are within THEIR First Amendment rights to do so.
For Congress to violate Rush's Free Speech rights they must do so legislatively. Please produce the legislation they have put forth that deals with Rush's Free Speech and know that regulations dealing with radio and TV have nothing to do with Free Speech. The First Amendment does not give you any Rights to speak your mind on the airwaves. The Federal Government can fine the shit out of you for violating FCC standards.
Again you need to study and understand the First Amendment, you have not a clue what it means apparently.
