7th advertiser pulls out of Limbaugh's show (vanity question How long have you listened to Rush?)

NEW YORK (AP) - A flower company is the 7th advertiser in recent days to say it is pulling ads from conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh's radio program. ProFlowers says on its Facebook page that it has suspended advertising on Limbaugh's program because his comments about Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke "went beyond political discourse to a personal attack and do not reflect our values as a company."

People should have stopped using Carbonite a long time ago regardless of them being on Rush or not.

They are just a crappy company.

• Carbonite data is often lost or not able to be recovered because they wrap it in their system. Data uploaded via a Mac is not able to be downloaded by a PC and vis versa.
• Carbonite is more expensive than other companies who offer better service

I only started listening to Rush back in the late 90s.

Today, I cancelled our Carbonite subscription (with a detailed description of the reason), and then I ordered a couple more cases of Two if by Tea.

It felt good too.

Darn it I just renewed my subscription with Carbonite. The only reason I went with Carbonite was because they advertised on Rush. Guess I’ll be shopping for a new online backup solution.

Good riddance. They charge a freaking FORTUNE for everything, anyway. I can buy the stuff locally, and mail it myself and save enough money to go to town for a steak and a beer (here in Wasilla, even.)

I got a reply from ProFlowers that said they knew I did not use the kind of language that Rush did so I should agree with them. The nerve!

Also, I do not know how to tell everyone but Intuit owns Quicken and they also own Turbo Tax. They won’t see a dime of our money this year.

I switched to H&R Block last year and used it again this year. I was a Turbotax customer for probably 10 years before that. Wasn’t their politics - just didn’t think the value was there anymore.

I was almost there with ProFlowers. Their customer service is pathetic. I didn’t ask for a commentary on Rush, I asked for my online account to be closed. They ignored that and gave me the BS back I posted.

I don’t think they get it, and that’s reason enough to take my money elsewhere.

The advertisers are spineless.Who are they targeting with their adds on Rushs’ show? Rush listeners thats who.I dont care that he called the round heel a slut.I really dont.Thats what we would call her.I dont think he should have apologized because the left never lets up and now they smell blood and will be relentless.Just watch and see. I want Rush to tell them to pound sand.

Sick of the commercials for those who have pulled out anyway.

They will feel the pain.

Rush was a great salesman for them, particularly the ads he did personally. Proflowers and computer protection people will be hardest hit.

Many of these companies are bottom-feeders. They do well because they hit a HUGE number of people - and a small percentage of those people actually buy the product. If they bail from Rush, they’re simply toast.

They may not think that now...but they will soon enough find that to be case.

I’ve been a ditto head since 1986 and have purchased damn near everything that Rush sponsors. Like a “mind-numbed robot”, I purchased everything from Snapple to an $8000 Hot Springs Spa! For this past Christmas I sent out over 50 dozen chocolate dipped strawberries via Shari’s Berries using the RL Radio Special promotion.

During the years of listening to Rush I have come to appreciate his absurdity and sense of humor. He has lifted my spirits thousands of times. This past week I knew that he stepped in it regarding Ms. Fluker. (sp?) There is no doubt in my mind that El Rushbo will turn his misspeak in to a massive victory for the conservative cause. He, in effect, has ignited a fire under the silent majority’s butt.

Does anyone know the full list of Rush's sponsors who have pulled out of his show? (I know about 24 hours ago there were a few who were considering pulling out)

I've been listening to Rush since about March 1991... 21 years!

May El Rushbo dominiate the airwaves for many, many more years to come.
