I’ve been a ditto head since 1986 and have purchased damn near everything that Rush sponsors. Like a “mind-numbed robot”, I purchased everything from Snapple to an $8000 Hot Springs Spa! For this past Christmas I sent out over 50 dozen chocolate dipped strawberries via Shari’s Berries using the RL Radio Special promotion.
During the years of listening to Rush I have come to appreciate his absurdity and sense of humor. He has lifted my spirits thousands of times. This past week I knew that he stepped in it regarding Ms. Fluker. (sp?) There is no doubt in my mind that El Rushbo will turn his misspeak in to a massive victory for the conservative cause. He, in effect, has ignited a fire under the silent majority’s butt.
Rush didn’t do talk until ‘88.
Before that he did some sports, and he was a DJ.
