For over 20 years, I have illustrated the absurd with absurdity, three hours a day, five days a week. In this instance, I chose the wrong words in my analogy of the situation. I did not mean a personal attack on Ms. Fluke.
I think it is absolutely absurd that during these very serious political times, we are discussing personal sexual recreational activities before members of Congress. I personally do not agree that American citizens should pay for these social activities. What happened to personal responsibility and accountability? Where do we draw the line? If this is accepted as the norm, what will follow? Will we be debating if taxpayers should pay for new sneakers for all students that are interested in running to keep fit?In my monologue, I posited that it is not our business whatsoever to know what is going on in anyone's bedroom nor do I think it is a topic that should reach a Presidential level.
My choice of words was not the best, and in the attempt to be humorous, I created a national stir. I sincerely apologize to Ms. Fluke for the insulting word choices.
On the contrary, these topics are in the headlines almost daily.
I don't believe they are winning the contraception debate either which is why they wanted to get the attention on Limbaugh.
States are dropping planned parenthood funding at a record rate; these centers are being closed (which is why the left is desperate right now to have other entities pick up that slack).
Thing is...the public doesn't seem to care much about the closings...they care much more about the economy and Obama will continue to be on the hot seat.

You choose your battles. He didn’t really apologize, but he gives his sponsors cover while still tweaking the left for how absurd they are.
This was really a brilliant twist to the whole story because now the leftist media will be suckered into covering it even more and more people will say, “but, she is being a whore”.

Rush screwed up because he went with the Obama/Pelosi narrative that this is an access-to-contraception issue, not a religious freedom issue. Now he’s scrambling to stay on the air. If Rush had been a REAL conservative instead of a success-myth-spinning windbag, he would’ve kept his eye on the ball.
Planned Parenthood is losing state support at a rapid rate; they are losing the debate regardless of how the MSM is trying to make you think otherwise this weekend.
Next week the headlines will go back to the economy...and Iran is coming up.

The central theme to this woman’s presentation was her promiscuity and how it affects her pocket book. Yet for some reason we are not allowed to a address the promiscuity that she brought up.

Ya know, it’s getting tough to stand with any of these people any more. The problem is mine...I’m imbuing them with stands of character and principle that I subscribe to and have been missing the point that they (and in Rush’s case he has been abundantly clear about this for decades) are in it for the money.
I will vote for whoever the Republican candidate is but with some sort of odor filtering device on. None of the candidates we have can arouse any passion in anything or anybody. They are the equivalent of the demonrat blah, blah, blah but without the street-fighter instincts the left has.
It is much easier to be a left-wing puke because THEIR people fight.

All day yesterday people were saying that the loss of a few advertisers wouldn’t hurt Limbaugh. They were wrong. They underestimated the power of Twitter and the left-wing blogosphere to put pressure on businesses that will do anything to avoid controversy. The loss of revenue didn’t directly hurt Limbaugh, but it was beginning to hurt Clear Channel and its subsidiaries. Evidently, other sponsors were going to walk if he didn’t apologize.
