Romney 32%
Santorum 28%
Gingrich 14%
Paul 12%
I got a little ticked off today when I read an article about a retired auto worker that was going to vote for Santorum so that he could help Obama’s chances.
For Santorum to bend over asking for the ‘Rat vote in MI really made me not like him a little more. It’s not that I like Romney, but he went over the line with the robo-calls. I don’t like it.
Well, haven’t had a lot of time to keep an eye on this race lately. But I see we’re still where we were before, with Newtorum splitting the vote.
Someone wake me up when we decide to unify.
I’m not generally into Shakespeare, but Henry V is awesome! ;o)
I’m with you on this one.. a bit questionable .. :/
Cheers! :-)
Name calling is the sign of a simple mind.
Really? When did I do that? Link the post where I called you anything? I'll wait.
The decision to zot is not mine, nor is the power to do so.
If Apollo5600 has enough advocates, and if the zot was as unfair as you all believe, you will probably have enough influence with Jim to ask for a reinstatement.
Since I value your opinions, I’ll throw my hat into that ring as well.
I don’t celebrate the zot of Apollo5600 either.
I don’t understand it.
I read his posting history and he certainly supports Newt Gingrich, and is not a fan of Rick Santorum.
How does that qualify him for a zot?
It appears to me that some pro-Rick supporters got their panties in a wad over his comments, but in his posting history Apollo does a good job of defending his positions.
If we are going to zot, let’s do it on a rational basis.
Me, either.
Your direct quote that religious and social issues are only being used to promote a perception of character and cover up a lack of substance is evidence enough for me that you have no use for religion and Christianity.
And if thats not enough to zot you, then Ill wait. Newbies like you ALWAYS give themselves away. Sooner or later youll make a comment from the heart that lays open your true convictions.
Maybe Ill be proven wrong, but I doubt it.
I told you on Friday that Apollo was a troll.
Guess I was right.
Might doesn’t make right.
Read the comments by long time members.
See post 90. Links to a thread from last Friday. I was pretty much alone in calling for a zot on Apollo. It had nothing to do with his being for/against Newt/Santorum.
He was making anti Christian comments.
He didn’t get the zot then. But trolls ALWAYS out themselves.
Can you back that statement up? There may be one or two, but half?? I doubt it's even 1%.
I think where you're getting confused is Gingrich supporters mocking Santorum as "St. Rick" and accusing him as being "holier than thou."
Unless this wasn’t his first time here, you have it right, exit82, but then that would lead to me question why a mendacious member remains here with second account.
I recall Apollo5600 when he first came here and he was very pro-Cain and very anti-Newt, until Cain was forced out. He may have supported others in between. I have no idea.
Santorum supporters have been after him for a while now, trying to call him anti-Christian. He was a rough around the edges poster, but it’s not like all Santorum posters are “saints.”
Well, I looked at your post 90, and I don’t see an anti-Christian comment.
To me, the poster thought that Rick was using religious issues to cover up a lack of substance.
Well, so what then?
He didn’t say Christ was a demon, did he?
Maybe you like Rick and he doesn’t. So?
Sounds like you jumped to a conclusion that wasn’t there. I try to give folks the benefit of the doubt. I have been on my fair share of helping folks ride the lightning when they deserve to. I realize that we are in the midst of a crazy political season, and everyone is trying to support their primary candidate.
But if that is all you have, that isn’t much. And certainly not “anti-Christian”.
I didn’t know him personally at all. I just knew from a week or so ago when I came to his defense, that a mob was on his tail.
One member is celebrating again on this thread right now.
“Don’t criticize Santorum” who wears his religion on his sleeve, even if you’re Catholic, like me.
Santorum supporters have been after him for a while now, trying to call him anti-Christian. He was a rough around the edges poster, but its not like all Santorum posters are saints.

I agree with you and exit82. Apollo5600 was "rough around the edges", but I read some of his history and didn't think that he was a bad guy. He may have deserved a talking to or reprimand, but I didn't think that he deserved to be zotted. I've seen much worse said about Newt, including outright lies.
You’re very wise, and always thoughtful and considerate, exit82.
You have it right again.
Responsibility2nd was one of the instigators and even today, s/he is celebrating, insisting s/he was right!
“Bless yer heart, Responsibility2nd.”
