This Muslim judge needs to be impeached by the state legislature of Pennsylvania. He has violated his oath to uphold the Constitution which provides equal protection, freedom of speech, the right of assembly, and freedom of religion. He furthermore broke judicial demeanor when he said that the American would be killed in a Muslim country. This is a threat. It is a hate crime. Yet this is exactly the way many Muslims interpret their religion, that they are supposed to make Christians feel oppressed.

Hmph, hope people who applaud this decision are ready for the day the government isn’t there to protect them while they trash the freedom of others.

Is Judge Martin one of Holder's People? I'm guessing this is the case, though I can't find a photo of him.

The judge needs to be impeached. If the PA legislature fails to do this, then those most responsible need to be voted out of office.

The judge’s ruling is a perfect application of leftist social justice. It reminds me of the case in England where the greenies trashed the coal powerplant (or maybe it was a nuclear plant) and were let off the hook, basically because of the sincerity of their beliefs.
And I wonder if the atheist who was assaulted grasps the irony that it’s conservatives, most of whom are Christian, who are his real allies in this matter and not his fellow leftist pals. He’s like the proverbial liberal who’s been mugged. You just have to wonder if he realizes it.

Does that mean Christians may assault anyone who offends their beliefs?
We could use this ruling against them....just a thought.

May I point out that the 14th Amendment equal protection clause could be interpreted as giving equal right to "return fire" on a muslim who commits assault because he is "offended". To claim otherwise would be a violation of the 1st amendment if the government gives special preference to any religion to commit offenses upon other persons.
The judge was just plain wrong. Condoning violence by one person upon another person is just plain stupid. The "doofus" in this case was dressed in a black robe. His judgement was not done within the bounds of US law. Kangaroo courts are suitable at the marsupial exhibit.

the First Amendment doesnt apply. It doesn't. The first amendment restrict government, not individuals.
That said, there's no exception to the laws on assault for "offensive speech" either.
