My first choice is mysteries....Earlene Fowler and Sue Grafton’s series for fun.
I’ve got a couple Navy SEALS books waiting in the wings. Reading time is so limited, but my iPad is a huge help. It goes where I go...a couple pages here, a couple pages there.
Wall Street sounds heavy.
I thought I was going to be able to visit..but I walked into a whirlwind.
Good morning, ML...((HUGS))...have good lessons today.
You and Linda have a good walk.
Good morning, Yehuda...((HUGS))...thanks for the bumpity.
How is winter treating you?
Per HopeandGlory we had another Threeper...a three way tie for first. d:o)
Tnkx.. mine had gone cold.
A moose in Providence hospital parking garage over the weekend.

Thank you for doing your part to help keep all of us free and safe.
Thanks, unique, for the pastries.
Coffee is always on........
How about a donut?
Cookies?
Veggies?
Sandwich?
LOL
Wonder if it was an insurance problem.
He just mooseyed on in. ; )
((HUGS))Good morning, Kathy. How's it going?
BTTT
BTTT
Canteen rules state that you must provide a HANKY ALERT heading before those emotional pictures...(sniffle)... that home coming one... WHEW! (sniffle...sniffle)
(sniffle)
SOUP FOR THE TROOPS
WELCOME TO
(where our troops, allies and their families can refresh themselves)
Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen for today's activities
Like WOW!
I want to take a moment to get on my soapbox...
I'm getting tired of the media and other TV/Movie personalities
(you know who you are)
using the word HERO so loosely.
Like sports, entertainment, scholarly (is that a word? LOL) figures
BUT
IMO, unless a person runs into a burning/falling/crashing building,
rushes toward a burning car, truck, or tank,
or jumps into a river to save another (or animal)
OR does the number of things we see here at the Canteen
they are NOT, I repeat, NOT a hero.
(ok...stepping down now)
~ Today...Partly sunny.
Highs around 70.
Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
~ Tonight... Mostly cloudy.
A chance of showers...Mainly in the evening.
Lows in the lower 50s.
Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph...
Becoming south after midnight.
Chance of rain 30 percent.
I'm excited about this touch of spring we're having.
Just hoping the wind doesn't knock limbs down on wires.
Making Z Zoup
A little of this...a little of that...
Thurgood Marshall was the first African-American
appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Murmansk, in Russia, is the largest city north of the Arctic Circle.
The first vending machines in the US dispensed chewing gum
and were installed in New York City
train platforms in 1888.
Twice the size of the Merchandise Mart in Chicago,
the Pentagon has three times the floor space
of the Empire State Building in New York.
It is one of the world's largest office buildings.
Chocolate manufacturers use 40 percent of the world's almonds.
I've got to make my rounds.
But, you stay right where you are.
Keep the troops entertained and the Canteen clean...
Cause...if you don't...I'll tell Ma!
Come in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS
PLEASE REMEMBER THEM ....
