Do you honestly think Babeu talks like that, in an ESL type of communication? Apparently the boyfriend does, since I read some of his quotes and texts....but Paul, an American from Massachusetts??!? “And you say you have loved me? Papi, this is no good.” Or “you can never have business after this....” I really don’t trust these allegations, especially coming from PNT. He admitted he’s gay but denied the other charges, BTW.

I disagree with your premise that if one is homosexual that automatically he cannot be conservative. I know several who are both.
Babeu has done great work in his sheriff role, and I do not believe the allegations made against him in a liberal rag.
They do the same to black conservatives, or do you think that, too, is an oxymoron?
Sheriff Babeu stated that the whole article was untrue; only fact was true that he is gay.

You have resorted to the liberal talking point of comparing homosexuality to black Americans. Black people cannot stop being black, nor are they remotely relevant to this discussion... unless they are gay. But that’s not why you brought it up.
Perhaps you should reconsider what being a conservative actually means. It does not mean ‘Gay is OK’ just because one has homosexual associates. Being homosexual is at direct odds with the core conservative concept of ‘man and woman’, AKA Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.
GOProud tried the ‘We’re conservative too” crap. They nearly destroyed CPAC. But rather than “accepting my premise”, which is rock solid, you should work on accepting reality. As Lincoln put it “Calling a tail a leg does not make it one.” Nor does calling a Homosexual a Conservative.

“Conservative” includes “conservative” values that by definition exclude promotion of homosexuality. Babeau wasn’t a discreet homosexual, that’s obvious.
I saw in another article that the Mexican ex-sex partner said that Babeau threatened to have him deported if he went public with the sex connection. I’ve read about 4 articles, not all on FR. The Mex. was here on a visa, haven’t read whether he overstayed it or not; if there was a threat to depart, then he must be illegal, but I’d like to have more verification of that. If the Mex is illegal, than Babeau is being a hypocrite of the first order.
You ever notice that every time someone rides to the defense of an outed homosexual or an open one that gets caught in some scandal or other that ‘their’ friend isn’t like every other homosexual on the planet - that they are somehow unique and don’t follow or participate in the ‘lifestyle’ etc?
I find that rather odd. I mean, if all those homosexuals, pure as the driven snow, no doubt, were such fine, upstanding and “conservative’ citizens, surely the rate of STDs in their world wouldn’t dwarf that of the hetro world. Yet it does.
Surely the number of sex partners would not dwarf those of hetros. Yet it does.
Surely the instances of pedophilia would not dwarf those in the hetro world. Yet they do.
Surely they wouldn’t lie to cover their ‘lifestyle’ to get benefits otherwise denied them by law. Yet they do.
Surely they would not put up a public front regarding their sex practices to falsely gain the trust of their voters. Yet they do.
I know one thing for sure. Anyone running for or currently in a public office who openly trolls/advertizes for “F-buddies” online does not have the common sense God gave a dung beetle. How freaking much of a moron do you have to be to claim the moral authority of a County Sheriff, while operating as an active participant in a world filled with vice.
Whether or not he actually threatened the former ‘friend’ isn’t the biggest problem. The fact he lied by omission to his voters is.
And worst of all is that in light of all the above, people are willing to excuse such moronic and contrary to his oath as a LEO behavior and defend him - as a conservative no less.
If this is what we have come to as a movement, then we are in dire straits indeed.

I don't see a threat to deport him there. Apparently Jose was on CNN this morning saying he is here legally. If true what weight would the threat have and why would anyone make it?
On the other hand; if he is here illegally why is he still here? Now that this has all gone public there's no need for Babeu's input anymore. Put Jose's arse on a bus headed south!
Another thing I should have pointed out.
In various threads, it has been pointed out that the DSM once listed, and society has long known, that homosexuality is a mental disorder.
Right until liberal academia loaded the APA with homosexual psychologist/psychiatrists. Suddenly, in a rabidly and obviously agenda driven move bu the homosexual ‘lobby’, it was a perfectly normal thing.
These same people recently held the ‘reported on FR but not much elsewhere’ conference saying that pedos shouldn’t be criminalized.
When we unknowingly elect homosexuals to office, when those elected officials then appoint homosexual board members, judges and other persons to positions of power, is it really so shocking that they then regulate. educate and legislate to the benefit of their fellow homosexuals and the determent of hetro/christian society?
Again, Homosexuals have to lie to get what they want. And it just kills me that people here refuse to think the issue through in a critical and logical manner. One need only look at California’s gay marriage battle, Bradley Manning, or the ultimate result of burying the truth about AIDS to see what happens when homosexuals are put in power.
And look at our military and what gays in power there have wrought.
Why in the name of sanity and rational thought would anyone willingly consent to that? To elect it? To defend it? Everyone screams bloody murder about how screwed up society is, but when a not insignificant portion of ‘why’ stands up and sings loudly, few people will take any notice at all.

I haven't pinged out any of the articles about Babeau's homosexuality until now, but now; Norm Lenhart's comments sum it up precisely. If Babeau had kept his sexual perversion to himself and no one knew about it, then we couldn't care about it. But since homosexuality is by definition a mental illness and grave character defect, as well as immoral and unhealthy, practicing homosexuals should not be in such public positions, and this is a colorful illustration exactly why.
Norm Lenhart makes so many good points, his entire comments on this thread deserve to be read, I will just copy this one part, which I have noticed over and over again in those trying to push the homosexual agenda under the radar on FR:

It will be very difficult to ascertain the facts now. The MSM likes Babeau’s homosexuality; don’t like his public stand on illegals; so they are in a huge quandary! They’re probably running around like chickens with no heads wondering what tack to take.
Everything you say is correct. And when homosexuals get in positions of influence, they do exactly as you say - they do everything within their power to promote the “gay” agenda, hiring, appointing, creating sensitivity/etc boards, agendas and so on. For 2% or less of the population they wield tremendous power.
The real question is WHY.
1. Those already in positions of power are morally corrupt one way or another.
2. Others who are not morally corrupt are moral cowards.
3. Those of the public who should have spoken up were cowards.
I can’t see any other option. I will not shut up though, and the more of us who see the truth and start shouting louder and louder - well, at least we know we’ve done whatever we can do. I’d rather have my conscience peaceful even if my small contribution doesn’t have much effect. Sooner or later truth will win. A disgustingly corrupt, venal and perverted country will collapse, and we can start again.
