Spot on again, Hoosiermama! I kept noticing their using Newt quotes as well.
I think this speech was one that would have made Reagan proud. We need someone to remind us of what it means to be an American. We have a generation coming up that has only seen our nation in decline.
Newt Gingrich is inspiring at a time when our morale is lower than at anytime I can remember. I will be so very thankful if he is elected.
>>Difference between a man of conviction and men of ambition.
That summary speaks for me, too.
I missed the insult to Onyx - but that parasite has been a nasty anti-Newt on many threads.
LOL, after all these years believe it or not, I thought onyx was a dude as I PMd her bro. It was only this month that I learned onyx was a she after a little correction from her ;)
GO, NEWT!
I should have hit the abuse button in disgust, but this came from a long time regular and I declined. I will not allow that to happen again though, you can be sure.
Go back to that clip and notice the number of guys in the "mormon uniform"...suit jackets and white shirts! There were bused in mormon students at an earlier rally.
BYU Students Bus In To South Carolina To Rally For Romney [BYU=mormon university]
"--a boisterous crowd of young, fresh-faced supporters was waving Romney signs and chanting, "MITT! MITT! MITT!"
But this wasn't a grassroots youth movement rooted at the University of South Carolina. No, many of the students cheering on the candidate told BuzzFeed they were actually BYU students and young Mormons from D.C. and Virginia who traveled to the Palmetto State to give their coreligionist's presidential effort a much-needed jolt of energy.
Little early to be drunk....Always hit the abuse button and let the mods sort it out.
Don't you ever click on the Freepers name and see if they have a profile? If you would have clicked on onyx's name there is a picture of a lovely women with Jim Robinson. And she even has a sticker on saying her name is onyx LOL!
I would like to see a real woman as first lady again . I get disgusted seeing Michelle dancing, doing pushups, thigh high photos, terrible taste in clothes that looke like she visited the local Salvation Army store...In Africa.
I don't think Michelle has ever understood even remotely her roll as first lady....rather she has the position and wants everyone to adapt to "who" she thinks herself to be. Which is undesirable for a first lady as she projects her "hip-ness" ...we see more childish actions from her than her own children!
Callista is such a lady, and obviously she’s just the support Newt needs now.
God bless them both. We’re so lucky to have Newt!
Apparently, his cowardly comment is gone. He’s just sore because I rightfully called him a troll.
Woo-Hoo!
Thanks very much, maggief!!!
You go, girl!!
Onyx is the best! Always there to inquire about FR and was my point person pretty much from day one....not to mention she and Jim were so good about convincing me to see Palin in the light she needed to be seen. I was sooo undecided then. I will always be grateful to Onyx for her help and that of others who drew along side her to convince me. They were especially patient as I asked questions and shared my thoughts.
FR ROCKS!!!!!
Probably I will vote for the Republican candidate unless it’s Romney (no Romney, no way, no how).
But I’m not sure any of them understands Constitutional limits on the legislature, nor do they understand the depths of the moral crisis we are in, nor do they wish to control illegal immigration.
I take it you are not a Newt supporter? Newt is the only candidate that spoke out about the activist judges. If you dont think they have done great damage...look at some of the rulings by the 9th circuit.
Newt will hold them accountable if they disregard the constitution..who else said that?
A president has no power of sitting judges.
Newt Gingrich is without question the best qualified and most experienced candidate, and it will be our nation's loss if he's prevented from rebounding because of Romney's scorched earth. Romney will never get my vote, but I will reluctantly vote for Santorum if it comes to that. Sickening to imagine the unscathed might win by default.
I guess my comments are at last in part directed to those who say it didn’t mean a thing when Santorum won those caucuses and primary. However, if their guy had won it, it would have been a seminal event with broad implications.
It does seem to have given Santorum momentum, and the ability to seek more funding successfully. I am glad to see that.
I don’t disagree with your views on the facet you chose to address.
