Four down, forty-six to go!
First, I would like to Congratulate Mitt Romney! No, really! Between he and his Super PAC, Team Romney dumped over 25 million dollars into Florida since the beginning of the campaign which, along with the diabolical coordination with formerly credible GOP media personalities in a massive Establishment smear campaign, resulted in Mitt Romney getting less than 200,000 votes more than he got four years ago!
The result was a plurality win in a four-person primary where only two candidates even attempted to win the state. At least as impressive a performance as winning a basketball game against a team that only fielded four players!
But he'd better get busy again! At his current return of about one delegate per $500,000 in combined spending, he's going to need nearly $600,000,000 to buy the necessary support to be the GOP nominee in August!
On a bright note, my Freeper Friends, it gets better from here. You see, Mitt was expected to take places like NH and FL, places where it is hard to fight an Establishment favorite. But his troubles are only beginning: as seen in the polls posted in the last few days, he trails miserably in the South - states with disproportionately large numbers of delegates with many winner-takes-all Primaries. He is also second or third in most polls of key midwestern states, like Missouri, Ohio, and Minnesota. To top that off, he is at BEST in a statistical tie with Newt in national polls, despite his massive money advantage!
Georgia alone has nearly 80 delegates, a lot more than Florida, and Newt will clean house there. Don't even get me started on the sweetest plum, Texas, where Newt is a favorite and our friend Captain Perry is circling the wagons for Gingrich! Texas has 155 delegates, NC 55 delegates, Ohio 66 delegates, Alaska 50 delegates, and they are all Newt country right now!!

As you see above, the longer the campaign, the more it favors Newt Gingrich! Mitt may win some states here early, but he is breaking the bank to do so. And if he's struggling this hard to win states he should win easily, image what it's going to be like for him when he faces more South Carolina type places in the future!
To arms! To arms! Keep up the good fight, keep fighting! We WILL win this thing in the end because the state delegate count favors us GREATLY as the campaign goes on! Mitt can't win in the South, he struggles mightily in the midwest, and he won't win in the corn belt.
The fight has only just begun! Mitt has broken the bank, and has only a small lead to show for it in delegates. We are in good position, and we will prevail in August and then November!!!!!!!
Didn’t Newt beat mitt by 13 points in SC? Looks like a draw to me.
Santorum has a Romney-like attack ad against Newt up already in the next state.
He's confident that his will work like Romney's did in Florida. He's going negative on Newt.
Obama’s got it all over Mitt, though Mitt has obviously been taking notes!
I looked for Newt Gingrich’s campaign address to send him a check , but all I could find was a way to use a credit card. I refuse to send my credit card over the net.
Does anyone have a snail mail address?
It’s time we started backing him with cash.
And it was Mitt Romney who started the anti-Capitalist attacks, not Newt. Newt just didnt have the GOP media in his pocket to spread the meme.
Where did Mitt start the anti-capitalist attacks? Or are you just making stuff up now?
“Don’t even get me started on the sweetest plum, Texas, where Newt is a favorite and our friend Captain Perry is circling the wagons for Gingrich! Texas has 155 delegates...
In Texas we are still not sure our primary will ever get started, thanks to the primary election chaos deliberately created by two scalawags pretending to be federal judges.
Yep. Willard was running ads in Florida 6 weeks before, then more heavily a month before, then bought up about everything for the last 2-3 weeks. The count was 160 Willard ads to 20 for Newt during the final 2 weeks. Willard is such an ass.
Oh, God, I meant NEWT! Newt’s speech. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_oR7WngB0E&feature=colike
We can hope that Florida has gone brain dead and the rest of the states can come through, but the new America is not what it used to be, so I am not very optimistic. (I would love to be, believe me!)
We will know soon, and America needs to step up and send Florida a message. Romney will ruin this country if they don’t.
LOL and Santorum backers expect us to believe their talking point that Rick is too stupid to realize he’s splitting the Conservative vote! Listen to his speech tonight, look at who his ads target - he knows full well what he’s doing!
He probably already got his Romney/Santorum 2012 signs made..............
I meant ‘Newt’ ping.
Plus the fact Newt’ speech was stellar tonight - and was actually a campaign commercial for probably a lot of people who saw him in a positive light for the first time, as they were tuning in to see Willard-Your-Worst-Nightmare’s speech... I was very proud of Newt tonight...

LET'S BREAK HIS ASS, the media will love us, they can use the money.
I have heard and read in Florida media, it was 17mil to 5mil, but if you are right, that’s even worse.
Not a mistake at all. He backed away quickly because he did not have the money to press that line of attack yet, and it wasn’t the time or place. That seed has been planted, though and anybody that thinks Romney is not vulnerable there has been listening to way too much Limbaugh and Kudlow.
Texas is worth more than Florida and Virginia combined.
Big problem though. Nobody even knows when it will be done. They did not do the redistricting correctly and now it is stuck in the courts. Do you have any idea when Texas will have the primary? December 2012?
Money simply cannot buy that one.
Mitt is, of course, welcome to waste as much of his advertising budget here as he wishes.
Just for your dear
:)
