Ann Coulter was just on Fox and Friends. She was crying over the fact that Romney got decimated in South Carolina. She offered a few talking points from the Romney camp including:

1. Newt is the lease conservative of all Candidates running. 2. Newt is unelectable because of his failed marriages. 3. The Freddy Mac non-issue. 4. John K asked a legitimate question and he is a completely fair and honorable reporter. 5. South Carolina is going back to it democratic roots and backing someone who calls Obama a socialist.

She laid out the establishment talking point that everyone who voted for McCain, will vote for Romney, that we need to get the independents.

Nah, that is just liberal spin. Gingrich looked very upbeat and positive in the debates in SC and after he won a huge victory in South Carolina.

In his victory speech he made a point to mention each candidate and said something very positive about them. Even that dirty no good, back stabbing Romney lol.

That was my thought as well, although the possibility of early dementia was also suspect, the odd thing about this zotting is that there are apparently three posters in this thread (you can figure out who they are) who took great umbrage at the fact that JimRob and the mods were pinged to what certainly appears to be a sleeper troll, and obviously agreed, resulting in the *ZOT*, the unnamed posters sneering at the FReeper in question (in this case it was DarthVader), calling him a (ready for this schoolyard taunt?) "tattle tale", I pointed out that the Zot validated their pinging JR & the Mods, they then proceeded to spew their bile in my direction.

I believe we are seeing a strange new phenomenon here on FR, the emergence of a 'troll defender' class of dirtbag, who deserve zotting just as much as the offending troll in question, i.e., a variation on "the enemy of my enemy is my friend", for this purpose "the friend (or defender) of the troll, is also a troll".

I think Romney is our best chance this time around, but I am eager to defer to Jim’s wishes. It’s his site and I have huge respect for him.

Just to set the record straight...my vote is going to Newt. I don’t like Romney, Ann Coulter, trolls or crybabies such as yourself. For all the tears, you must be an “only” child.

True, Newt espoused a single payer system but at least he didn't ramrod it through when he had the chance.
